Well...it kinda is. EVERY SINGLE DC/MARVEL SUPERHERO movie to date, sans Blade, Kick-Ass, and the Punisher has been marketed to kids.
Seriously....Batman Begins, TDK, Iron Man, Wolverine, Spider-Man...you name it, it was marketed to kids.
However, NONE of those characters were that violent. Sans Wolverine...which is why Wolverine blew so much. But I digress.
Deadpool is a VIOLENT character.
Why are you arguing this? Deadpool is NOT a PG-13 character. Period. He's not. He kills people....sometimes without reason. He curses, he drinks, he's deformed....nothing about that character can be marketed to kids. He cant do ANY crazy crap. Yes, Tony Stark did get drunk...but we dont really "see" him get drunk.
He just is drunk. Kids can accept the comedy of intoxication...but watching a superhero down shots like no other wouldnt work. BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO MARKET TO THE KIDDIES! :hehe
And if they recast, then **** this **** all to hell. **** that movie all to hell. It'll be worthless.
Were we watching the same Dark Knight? Granted, it wasn't gory, but that movie was still very effing violent.
