How do you describe your relationship with your significant other? Are you two halves of the same person? Do you know exactly what they'll do in a situation? Or is it more unpredictable, tumultuous?

Which do you prefer? Knowing that person like the back of your hand or being more chaotic?

We are definitely two halves of the same person. She is so down to earth and understanding about everything. She thinks when I'm in my Metallica T-shirt and blue jeans that I am sexy. So, any kind of girl that thinks that is pretty much perfect for me and you can't get any better than that.

All the girls I dated, or had a relationship with, before her seemed very materialistic and wanting to...change me. Like, "Oh, you read comic books?! Ok, that's gotta go. Oh, you don't need to wear those old dirty Metallica T-shirts. We are going to take you shopping at Abercrombie and Fitch!".

I tell my girlfriend I have now, "Hey, by the way, I read comic books". She says, "Hey, can I read some of them?" I was all like... :wow: So, I gave her trades of Fables and now she's a fellow comic geek. :woot:

Though she does listen to crappy music. :csad: But it's all good. :cwink:

that person is the back of my hand. :hehe:

none. im single. you know that phrase "Do Not Want''? yeah...i live that..lol..

seriously.

My relationship is going down the crapper pretty quick. We were fine for a while, but then I moved away, and now it's really not working out. I don't have the heart to end it while we're apart, but I feel like I might have no other choice.

My parents say "absense makes the heart grow fonder." Except... it's really made me realize how mediocre this relationship is...

She digs Metallica and comic books? Nice!

My girl is alright.

I guess.

All her other boyfriends have been sterotypes of some sort, Long hair "metal" kids. (I love metal and sometimes grow long hair, but I'm not a sterotype if that makes sense.)

I like her a lot and she really likes me because I'm different from her past guys. I'm not scared to fart in front of her or work on my Aussie accent, and she loves to see me "geek out" when we go to the comic store.

Bad side is, she thinks I'm the coolest guy on the planet from the way I handle myself. Which is awesome, but it causes a lot of pointless crap because she thinks I'm such a "playa" and always hitting on girls.

She acts like a baby about a lot of things which really frustrates me. And she never watched a Scorsese film. When I did make her watch Casino and Goodfellas she wasn't all that into it.

But sometimes she'll wear Batman shirts for me ;)

this seems like a win-lose thing...as long as shes no kate gosselin, your good  lol

Also, I'd never say that my significant other and I are two halves of the same person, nor would I want us to be. I feel like he completes me, but not because we're exactly the same. I wouldn't want to date a male version of myself. We have some awesome similarities, but not in an obnoxious way.

No relationship, too much B.S. to deal with.

Living the single life its gotten old afterwhile. But I haven't met anyone that was very interesting anyway lately.

I think that depends. Depends on whether you really love each other or if you think you're in love with each other. If your relationship is more than just... physical. If there really is a strong connection between you two, being apart makes you appreciate each other more because you feel something missing in your life when you're apart. And when you miss that person so much, you can't help but count the days when you'll see each other again.

If there wasn't much depth in the relationship before the time apart, then it's usually, "out of sight, out of mind".

my relationship with my girl is amazing. we are definatly meant for eachother, she is not materialistic in anyway, shape or form. She is a very girly girl y'know like all into chick flicks (twilight... :( ) and i couldnt be happier.

yes her music taste maybe a shocker but im slowly changing her to the ways of queens of the stone age and nine inch nails.
