I'm not in one. I'm not averse to being in one, I'm just not in a hurry to get into one. I'm comfortable with the way things are.

Also, I'd never say that my significant other and I are two halves of the same person, nor would I want us to be. I feel like he completes me, but not because we're exactly the same. I wouldn't want to date a male version of myself. We have some awesome similarities, but not in an obnoxious way.
My wife and I pretty much complete each other, though we are not necessarily that similar. I'm a metalhead, she's not, I'm a comic fan, she's not, I train 4 nights a week, she's got no set routine.

She digs Metallica and comic books? Nice!
My wife and I are a lot alike. We've been together for 13 years and have yet to have an argument (in my previous marriage, shouting matches were an almost every day thing). She likes comics, sci fi, and movies with explosions and martial arts.

What do you guys do for fun?
Haha, sounds like you three would get along nicely.
I agree. I tend to fixate on one or two things at a time, and I can't imagine that's healthy for long periods of time, especially if I'm with another person who's the same way! Also, I'd never say that my significant other and I are two halves of the same person, nor would I want us to be. No relationship, unless if you count one of my hands.![]()

and the saddest thing is, i really dont care
I'm almost afraid to ask...what happened to that one?I will say this: I've been on the dating scene since I was a young(er) man in my teens. I've been married once. And out of all that time, nothing can compare to the relationship I was in prior to now...everything from the dynamics, sex, friendship--even our families--was firing on all cylinders. We were totally two halves of the same person...it was almost symbiotic. People would look at us and be like...wow, look at these mofos. We totally complimented eachother and even when we had fights, it was still all love.
I think relationships like that only come once in a lifetime. Perhaps I'm doomed now.
*sigh*![]()
