Why does Dante look like Clancy Brown now? I thought they were going to change his face?

Clancy Brown is awesome... they are clearly trying to make Dante more awesome.

I want Nero to molest me.

Good and proper. I'm having a crappy day.

The graphics certainly don't look all that stunning in the stills. Decent, but not that wow factor we're all waiting for. I'm sure it will look much, much better in motion however.

Hi Dante! (third shot) early versions I'd bet, doesn't look as good as their target (goes without saying) looks much more DMC ish though and the same as their other next gen titles. DMC is a 2007 release.
This game actually doesn't look too bad. On about the same level as Oblivion I'd say. There are ups and downs. Some bits are good, others... not so much (textures, but that just might be due to the PS3's steep RAM overhead, so maybe it's not Capcom's fault).

Holy crap! That does look awesome.

DMC4, MGS4, and any GH games exclusively on PS3 will make me buy it.

Yep, and Final Fantasy, plus Heavenly Sword and Warhawk.

Not really into FF, and Heavenly Sword.

The thing that turns me off about Warhawk is the stupid controller tilt.

Warhawk does have good water. Nothing as good as Age of Empires 3, but it's still darn good.

The game itself however, looks terrible. Graphically as well as gameplay.

Yeah, but I'd spend 60 bucks on that water. Anyday. I'd just borrow some money from Matt.

I was about to spend that kind of money for the water in Farcry on the Xbox, because that stuff is AMAZING, but I decided not to until it's $10 or less.

But controller tilt for a flight game is awesome, it's one of the few truely useful applications of the tilt controller. They did say that you could choose to use the tilt function or not, at E3. Still if I were to play the game, I'd probably use the controller to steer.

Yeah, the GPU only has 256 megs to draw on, and the hungry OS doesn't help at all. The PS3 is going to be ram starved compared to the 360 in all likelyhood. You won't see the difference with third party games but you will probably see the difference between their first party games.

The only silver lining is that Sony will probably get the ram size down as revisions go by. But for now, it's the reason why you can see so many 'off' textures in upcoming PS3 games imo.

If "tilt" is one of the few truely useful applications for that controller....and the developers had so little faith in it as to not even design the game around it, that doesn't say great things about the controller being useful. They should have just went with a rumble thing.

I think they're keep standard controls in place for those who are turned off from the titling idea, I mean in pratice the tilt would would much better imo, but there are people who hate the idea of the Wii controller.

I'd rather have both, since to me it will be invaluable for flight games or Wipeout could even make awesome use of it, but beynd that it's sort of a boxed in feature. I can't see devs really finding intuitive ways of using it.

If I had to choose... I'm going to have to see how much I end up missing rumble... It would be really nice for say MotorStorm, so I might end up saying I'd rather have rumble then a slightly better way to control 1 of the games I'll probably end up owning.

I don't know if i want to play it now, when vergil is not even in it & dante is just a side charcter, im not trying to judge it to harshley, but those two charcters are what sold the game for me. without them, then is just a bland unistering game.

i dunno, ill give it a play through whenever it comes out, then i make my final judgement if i will buy it or not.

Who is to say the new character isn't going to be just as interesting as Vergil and Dante?

The only difference I know of now in a third party game is Starbreezes "The Darkness", in which the 360 version has higher resolution textures, but in the PS3 version, there are longer TV broadcasts.
