Devourer of Worlds - Ralph Ineson is Galactus

But you don't do that on their first outing. TDK was a sequel, and Batman beats Joker at the end. Having a situation where the FF have to peace out and let their reality die without saving anyone is a bad look.
I think it would work fine when you will have the FF redeem themselves in Doomsday and/or Secret Wars if they are the secret sauce that the Avengers need to save the day. Especially if the FF have been saving people in their world up until Galactus attacks at the end. But maybe it could be a situation where the FF is victorious in saving their universe but as a repercussion they are taken out of it, along with Galactus.
I guess we'll see what Marvel decides to do.

You have to remember, this is the audience's first introduction to this FF. For a franchise that's failed twice already. They need a strong debut. You can work them into Secret Wars and Doomsday in other ways. Having them lose and their reality die isn't a strong debut for a new audience. Maybe that idea works in isolation for people who have followed comics for 60 years, but that's not who you're trying to win over. Also, if their entire reality has been destroyed, that's a lot of baggage they have to carry over. The FF are not really a light hearted first family anymore. Cause they wouldn't be. They'd have extreme PTSD over that.

Now, they could do a Captain America The First Avenger and it would work. The FF save their world, but have to do so in such a way where they will be destroyed. But instead of dying, they survive. If I am running with that idea, maybe they don't wake up in the MCU. Maybe they wake up in a different universe.....in a Latverian prison. Where they wake up and are greeted by Victor Von Doom, who maybe this FF have never encountered, but this Doom has and their gone somehow. And he needs Reed's help for what becomes the central plot of Doomsday. That can work. But I don't think their reality just flat, dying does.

Alternate origin of Doom in my above idea could be Doom is from the FF reality, and the experiment Doom and Reed worked on involved the multiverse, and Doom in this version disappeared and was never seen again. But it turns out he ended up in this other dimension, had the scarred face, took over, etc. Then he saved Reed and the FF right before they died and he sells them teaming up cause the multiverse is dying and he thinks only he and Reed can prevent it. Obviously, in Doomsday we find out Doom's true nature. But it's another path for Doom's origin they can take that connects him to the FF

Let’s put it this way: If they have Galactus win and turn the FF into cowardly ineffectual nothings who escape rather than at least going out with their planet-mates, I may be done and not bother showing up to see if they redeem themselves in Secret Wars.

There’s not really anything they could do to redeem themselves from the title “Worst Heroes Ever” after that.

Well maybe he could just have a nibble of a planet then. Like if they convince him to just eat New Zealand I think everyone would be ok with that

The alleged leaked plot makes Galactus the greatest villain since Thanos imo

I would have the F4 save as many people as possible before the earth is destroyed.
Reeds sends millions to different Earth's, but time runs out before he can save them all.

It would be kind of cool if Galactus was like Jaws but with realities. Like the feeling of dread right before an attack leading to the big finish with man versus monster

Hearing Ralph Ineson's voice coming out of Galactus is gonna be euphoric.

Someone can explain me why, in a recent poster released before San Diego, there are two Silver Surfer?
I always thought that they introduced Shalla Bal initially to hide the fact they are also going to introduce Norton Radd in the SAME FILM! We shall see.

I love that he’s doing things more practically.

You’d think they’d be getting to the point CGI is good enough that you couldn’t tell the difference between CGI and practical, but the obvious, overdone CGI is one of the most distracting elements of current comic-book films.

I hate that, more often than not, the last fifteen minutes look like a video game.

I just finished watching Mufasa a while ago, it really looked like a videogame from the future. Despite having impressive CGI, it lacked realism.

It’s awesome finally seeing the character on the big screen and it seems like they’re doing him justice as well. So cool seeing these monumental, larger than life comicbook beings showing up on screen, Galactus, Celestials, Eternity, Dormammu, Surtur…
