Dexter: Season 2

I am not too pumped for season 2.

I saw the first two episodes. I'm a little let down.

I liked how the first season somewhat followed the book.

I feel that the second season is taking all of the things that made the TV series popular, and forgetting where it came from. I thought the stuff they added in the show was kind of cool, but it always had the book as a backbone.

We'll see how the rest of the season goes. I thought the first two episodes were really slow, but by the end of the second episode, it it started to pick up.

O.K Dexter fans, i just finish watching all 12 eps of this show on ONDEMAND, under the TOP PICKS section (cause i don't have Showtime)..and all i can say is wow! Great story arc with the Ice Truck Killer. Too bad i have to wait super long for season 2 cause i don't have showtime...

after the season 1 premier, Michael C Hall announced a preview of the entire season...showed alot of unseen footage and the basic jist of whats to come... LOOKS FANTASTIC. buttt....it looks like dexters drug sponsor is getting to him, and she knows EVERYTHING, and seems like dexters gonna stop killing people...but i have faith he'll keep killing, how could showtime get rid of the most important thing about the show that makes it so much different from the other shows?

F*** that. Someone's gone to that much trouble to try and kill me, I don't care how big I am, I'm gettin' the f*** outta there!

The question remains, though, did Lil' Chino get a good enough look at Dexter to I.D. him? Not that he's going to go to the cops and press charges, but should Dexter be concerned that he might come after him and slice him up machete-style?

Paul, though. I suppose it's a bit cheap how they just killed him off right away. If anything, I feel like that should have been the beginning of a subsequent episode.

Just watched the new episode and I thought it was great. I really like where this season is headed.

i dont like the hinting idea in the preview that dexter discusses his killings with the sponsor and she seems to be getting to him....dexter is meant to be bulletproof when it comes to him and his need to kill...if showtime takes away his killing, say goodbye to the show.

I don't think thats going to happen. I think one of the main focuses in this season is Dexter realizing he may be more human than he wants to believe he is.

eh i just want dexter to be dexter. it looks like season is going to ruin that...stay somewhat faithful to the books.

Well thats pretty much what happened in the second book. Throughout the majority of it Doakes was following Dexter around.

dexter didnt really change though. he was still a killer.

Well if you've seen the second episode you would know he hasn't changed really. Not yet at least.

the end of episode 2 didnt leave us much....no real cliffhanger or anything, it just ended really....episode 3 will probably start with dexters first rehab visit...confrontation with FBI Agent Lundy.... and of course from what some previews show us last week...Lundy will discover all the victims of the BHB are bad people(killers,rapist,etc) ...

my perspective...i think the public will find out about the killer killing killers...and BHB(Dexter) will have a following of support.
