So are Planet Skaar and Skaar: SOH one in the same?

Thanks. Ultimate Spider-Man definitely has it's moments. Gotta love the Charlie avatar, too. I need to catch up on Lost. I rented the 1st disc of the 3rd season and fell behind.

The 2nd and 3rd seasons were a little underwhelming in parts, but the 4th and 5th were phenominal. I hate that the next season is the last. I love that show.

That's what I've heard. I wasn't too impressed with the first four episodes of season 3 with Sawyer and Kate in the cages and Jack helping Ben. Nice to hear that 4 and 5 are good. Probably because Brian K. Vaughan's now writing the show:oldrazz:.

Season 3 is still great. It has some of the best episodes in it. There's just still a few fillers here and there and maybe starts off slow, but the second half are some of the best episodes of the series, particularly Locke and Ben's episodes.

I love that the next season is the last. If it weren't, the story wouldn't be progressing so smoothly and the producers would be spinning their wheels with crappy filler episodes like they did in season 3.

Oh I agree. That's every bit the reason why the past two seasons have been so good. Lost is just the first show I've ever followed from day one and loved every minute of. I even liked the slow stuff (with the exception of an episode or two, mostly in the 3rd season). I'm just going to be really sad when this show ends and there'll be no more Lost.

I will say this about Season 3 though, it had the best and most memorable season finale of the entire show thus far. I still think that was the most defining episode for the whole show.

I almost stopped watching in season 3, but the back half of it did redeem it and then some. Season 4 blew my socks off from beginning to end. Season 5 was great but not quite up to season 4's standard. I'm still really enjoying the show, though. I can't wait to see how it all pans out.

Again, without ruining anything... I think season 5's season finale is the first time where I am at a loss for words. I have NO idea how next season is going to pan out, or even start. I've always had a few ideas of what was going on from day one, but now I'm stumped and my mind is blown. I just don't know, and I love that!

Season 3's second half was maybe the best Lost has been. The Ben/Locke combo especially. Them two make the show for me.

But yeah I agree about season 4 and 5. I kind of felt season 5 really put character development to the side for more plot development, which is cool cuz of all the reveals, but a lot of the characters didn't really get any spotlight.

But overall, still my favorite show ever:up:

Im not entire sure they're even gonna be able to resolve everything in the last season. I mean at this point, Ive given up hope and figuring out how Sayid got out of Iraq, how Ben was captured by Rousseau, and whats up with Libby. I certainly hope they have explanations for this stuff, but more than likely theyll take a backseat to the bigger questions (like why Jack's hair never grows on the island???)

BKV ended up writing some of my favorite episodes of the series, so he is most definitely an asset for the show.

Season 3 starts out pretty bad, but like others have said, the back half really picks up. Starting at "The Man from Tallahassee" the show just really takes off and (more or less) sustains that momentum for two and a half seasons.

I've lost all hope for Libby. I would've liked to know more about her past, but it seems we're well past the point of exploring secondary characters' backstories, unfortunately. Everything's streamlined to deal with just the big mainstays and the main plot threads now, which is good because it gives the show more structure but bad because it leaves dangling plot threads for those secondary characters who didn't have their stories told earlier. Right now I'm just hoping to find out what happened to Claire and what the f*** the true nature of the island is by the end of the series.

That, the Brig, and the Man Behind the Curtain were my top three episodes of season 3 (well, not including the finale I guess). That's when they finally started giving some good answers.

Im sure those two things will be figured out. They might explain Libby as a side-note within some bigger mystery, you never know. I mean, we first saw the statue way back in season 2 and we only now just got to it again, so there's still some hope.

The producers have already said they won't be getting into Libby's backstory, mostly because they can't get Cynthia Watros to return. Not that it's really a big deal imo, knowing what we know you can pretty much piece together her story.

Claire will be a big part of next year though, she was just put on a holding contract for season 5.

Her story is boring based on what we can piece together. I was hoping for some trademark Lost twists and turns. But alas, I'll go without.

My main things is I want to know what makes Walt special. We've been given hints and things but nothing's ever been explained.

And I want to know about the numbers.

Right now, I'm just looking forward to Season 2 of True Blood! Thank God word of mouth worked on this show (even Howard Stern was promoting it a few times a week during Season 1). Too many of HBO's shows have been dropped before their time. i.e. Carnivale, Deadwood, and Rome.

Don't remind me about Carnivale. I was so pumped for where the show was going and then, out of nowhere, canceled. F***ing lame, dude. :csad:
