Batman Begins Did Ra's Al Ghul train Bruce Wayne in the comics?

I was just wondering, did Ra's Al Ghul train Bruce Wayne in the comics or even have anything to do with his training? Or was that just put into Batman Begins to make for a better plot? Please let me know.

No he didn't. It was one of the changes made for the movie.

However, a character named Henri Ducard did train Bruce at one time. But in the comics, he's a completely unconnected with Ra's.
