I've always wanted to ask this question, reddit won't allow me to post a new thread.. but I've been there since Age of Ultron. 
Infinity War.... Strange is battling Thanos.
Strange conjured the Mirror Dimension and threw it at Thanos. It seemed like an attempt to contain him in there so he couldn't hurt anyone. Cuz rt? Inside there, nothing affects the real world.
What happened? Thanos smashed it with the power stone, reduced it down to a small packet with the space stone and threw it back.
Strange turned it into butterflies.
If anyone has talked about this, well alrighty-then I've not heard it
