I have no idea what is happening in the shot of the crowd walking.

and i really, REALLY hope they do not continue making Die Hard films having McClane's son taking over as lead. this is just as bad as when Spielberg & Lucas were considering having Shia Ladouche take over Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones films.

Meh. I actually wouldn't mind. One more with Willis after this one (Old Habits Die Hard), and if Jai is good (unlike Shia), then I'm all for it. The more Die Hard the merrier. I can always not watch ex post facto if need be.

Because we all know DTV's have 76 days to shoot a ****ing car chase scene...

This movie ain't DTV...granted even though the DOP looks good, I seen DTV with similar look. This does have the same look of DH4, but it looks um, better.

Couldnt really tell much from the teaser but i can say i do not like the cinematography or more precisely the color grading and lighting. I was worried about it when I saw the shot of John and his son and it was full of blue and orange but thought it might just be the lighting in the shot. Nope. Seems the whole film has that stereotypical cold blue that always seems to accompany Russia in a film.

It wont kill my enjoyment obviously. If its a good film that wont bring it down. And even if its a crappy film it wont make it worse. Just something im not a fan of.

That whole trailer was pretty much saying, "sorry for Live Free and Die Hard."

Eh... just looks like an unspecific action film with McClane in it. Which isn't suppose to be like that at all. Die Hard has always been a unique thing.

But hey, it's a teaser.

Exactly. If the teaser didn't show the title, people would have no idea it was Die Hard 5. It just seems like a run of the mill Bruce Willis action movie.
