Die Hard 5

3rd trailer is probably the best one yet, looks to have some great action. I have no faith in the director but ended up liking DH4 despite initially being skeptical, hoping the same happens with this.

Plus, its hard to turn down Bruce as McClane.

This movie still looks mellow compared to DH 1-3. I think it's because Bruce Willis doesn't look like he cares anymore in this film...also the PG 13 doesn't help.

the father and son jump off the building while the helicopter explodes is obviously reminiscent of the first one.

For some reason that scene reminded me of this:

Boycott this movie if it ever gets a PG-13 rating.

This franchise is NOT suppose to be for Kids, it's for adults and intended to be R-rated as nature intended.

Email Fox at [email protected] and do their facebook pages and twitter pages and let them know DH fans want this to be R-rated and go back to the formula and let them understand fans care about this franchise.

It's not about what the fans want, it's about how it was filmed. Was this filmed as an R movie? Or was it filmed as a PG-13 movie? When you get a movie that was filmed as a PG-13 but then converted into an R you get the CGI blood mess that was The Expendables 2. That film didn't even have cursing in it.

Actually, I think I heard that JCVD requested they tune down the cussin'. Which I don't mind, since some writers tend to rely to heavily on it. To me, the best curses are the one's that are used very rarely, and with a bit of build-up.

Also, anyone else notice how Cole Hauser's bad-guy in this movie is named the very un-Russian sounding "Collins?" What do you guys think that's about? Is it a codename, is he actually an expatriat from some place else?

JCVD, Chuck Noris, the stuido. I don't know. But watching that film I could tell they filmed it on a PG-13 level, all the R stuff was added in post and stuck out like a sore thumb.

Wow, didnt know he was the bad-guy, I like Cole in movies, always plays a good role and has played good villains, but yeah, Collins doesnt sound very Russian.

He always has a nice intensity in his roles and he has a very Ed Harris-like stare. He doesn't look like himself in most of the trailers, and he's using both an American accent and a Russian one, so I'm really curious what's so important about his name.

Not related to A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD but still DIE HARD-nevertheless...

The unrated version of LFODH is a cheat. What we need was a legit, R-rated action movie. Let's hope it delivers. But this is definitely +1 point!

**** yeah, mother****ers!!!

Nice to hear it's rated R. But as Luis said I wouldve just watched the Unrated version anyway.

Guys, the unrated version is a damn cheat. CGI blood. Some altarnate takes to include for the DVD version? CGI blood? LFODH was made with a PG-13 in mind. Which means it was made to fit that demographic. If this was made for an R rating, it's a whole different thing.

LFODH's unrated version has swearing and so that's a bonus,But honestly even though I love the ultra violence..I don't really need it and my focus is on action&John Mclane and LFODH had that.

I still prefer 1&3 way more But I find LFODH underrated and at least better than part 2..Which I don't think it's all that bad either But just my least favorite in the series

For me it goes like this:

DIE HARD
DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE
DIE HARD 2

LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD

I didn't care for the unrated cut of Live Free. It felt like a kid who just learned a bunch of curse words and used them at every opportunity.

If the swearing in this feels natural and the violence looks good, then great. If they added CG blood then it's not going to make much of a difference. People get way too caught up on the rating. I understand it's Die Hard and you'd think naturally it would be rated R but if it's a bad movie, all the ****s and blood in the world isn't going to matter. It can enhance it if it's good.
