What did you guys think of this because I hear a lot of people trash this film. It has a low rating from Rotten Tomatoes. The lowest rating of all the DH movies. Willis was talking trash about it in an interview for Newsweek while promoting the 4th film. I think Justin Long was even bashing DHWAV. I find that amazing my tv guide from my city's newspaper gave it ***, the regular tv guide gave it ***, and the info./guide on my tv gave it ***. All of the tv guides above gave the same stars for the 2nd DH as well. Two of the tv guides from above gave the 1st one *** also, but the guide/ info from my tv gave it *** 1/2. That's strange. Maybe you guys could give me your thoughts on this film.

I love it. it's almost as good as the first one. Die Harder and LFODH both sucked in my opinion.

I really liked this one, thought it was awesome, I definitely don't understand all the hate it gets. It was miles better than DH2.

I really like it. Second best Die Hard after the first one.

I watched the whole trilogy before going to see DH4. I had to watch DH3 again after DH4. It was such a pile of crap.

DH4 was not a pile of crap, it was awesome.

The tag team of Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson was cinema gold!!!

I actually love it, except the ending, which is very rushed. The alternate ending is great though.

not familiar with the alternate ending, but the flick is great nonetheless!

Die Hard
Die Hard With a Vengeance
Live Free or Die Hard

Die Hard 2: Die Harder

I thought that alot of people agreed that the third one was better than the second???

Well I for one disliked rehash harder and enjoyed the third one quite a bit although I haven't watched it in a long time.

1st one was awesome, 2nd one was MEH, 3rd one was just as awesome as the first (maybe even more enjoyable actually), 4th one was freakin awesome.

it was entertaining, but it would have been a stretch for sure. plus, i was kind of a fan of the original ending. i at least liked the part where Sam Jackson gives Bruce Willis a quarter to call his wife.

....but action wise, it leaves something to be desired. same with LFODH.

A great number three in a great series!

after watching and loving LFODH i realized i hadn't seen any of the other ones... so i went and watched the trilogy in one day and holy crap was Die Harder crap...DH 1 & 3 were great!

This flick is very nostalgic to me as it was the first movie I was ever on the set of, I witnessed the filming of all the "Harlem" scenes. The school at the end is PS 115 where my cousin went and this was the second biggest thing to happen there since Hilary Clinton spoke there about a year earlier. That was the hottest summer in NYC ever IMO.

Anyway enough of that crap lol this is my second favorite behind the original and ahead of Wiseman's. It was a little more Lethal Weapon than Die Hard but at the same time people need to understand that in the wake of Passenger 57, Under Siege and Speed this franchise had to evolve. Personally opening it up like they did made it even more intense than strict claustrophobia. The rushed last 30 minutes were my only beef with an otherwise action classic.

That is cool man. Wish I could be around a working set. Other than my crappy xhort film of course lol.

DHWAV is a very good movie, its far from being as good as the original but it is WAY better than the second and fourth efforts.

McClane is McClane and Irons is a worthy genuine bad guy.

I have never heard anyone trash this film.. it was better than two just under 4 and no where near as good as 1... the ending sucked

People bash DHWAV? I always see people bash DH2{it's not that bad}.
