I loved seasons 1-4, each had their own quirks and merits. Wasn't able to watch Data Squad, but most fans don't accept that one. Fusion is AMAZING, the concept you think would be it's downfall but it works rather well. The story is very compelling, and keeps you wanting more.

SO Tai is going to be 17 years old! I can't believe it has been 15 years. I hope they do make it in dub at some point but I'm pretty excited to see the sub!

Tai was 14 in 02 so this would be three years on from that series if they are continuing.

I'm a little confused...but I am intrigued. I hope they don't retcon anything (as in how the end up at the end of 02) cause part of the appeal was seeing how they lived their lives with the Digimon. Here's hoping it continues the epic Digimon tradition!

So this Adventure 2015 thing... is it a new series with the cast of season one? If so, then I'm really interested. Digimon was my first ever huge fandom, but I could accept the new casts from season three onwards. But I have huge huge huge nostalgia for the season one cast.

I can honestly say Digimon has saved my life. My job is depressing, and one day a random person saw I used a Digimon song title as a header for a project I did, and he linked a youtube video of the song. So at my job I played it and it cheered me up, so now everyday I'm at work I play Digimon songs from the movie and shows. Thank you Digimon!

The third coundown on the official website for the Digimon Adventure 15th anniversary project reached zero on Saturday and revealed the first key visual and staff information. The website also announced the official title for the new anime is Digimon Adventure tri.

Atsuya Uki (Cencoroll) will provide the character designs, Yuuko Kakihara (Heaven's Lost Property) will act as series script supervisor, and Keitaro Motonaga (Rayearth) will direct.

Title is Digimon Adventure "TRI"

While my favorite iteration of the show is Tamers, I can't wait for this. So I assume it will be taking place in a world where everybody has a digimon, as it was when 02 ended? I wonder if any of the 02 characters will be featured.

I just hope that if that is the style, hopefully they dont give Sora/Kari the same face again. But i have been waiting for this since 02 ended.

I doubt it, would just take away that specialness. And I would be surprised if it didnt take place int he digital world.

Eventually, probably. The only ones that haven't made it here are the movies, to my knowledge. Except for ones used to make the Frankenstein's monster that was Digimon: The Movie.

Probably not. That was when everyone was an adult already. It's far into their future


The original 8 teens are high school students now. So there's still some story left to tell before they become adults.



Looks like they referenced more how the MOVIE kids looked rather than TV show kids

So Digimon Adventure Tri's Taichi looks more like a teenage version of the movie Tai.


It gives the show a more movie look to it.

Yeah, but even before the time jump to them being adults, 02's climax ends with pretty much the barrier between the human digital worlds dissolving after they destroy malomyotismon. Im fairly certain at least, I just watched it a few months ago.

I'm interested in seeing what their adventure will be this time, and how it will connect with the past and future we already know they've had. I hope they don't decide to do any weird retconning, or storylines we know won't matter.

I would be totally fine if they retconned the epilogue.
