Saban had the dubbing rights at the time and Disney got them for Frontier and Data Squad. I'm assuming that is still the case.

It's very pokemon like. Not necessarily a bad thing but digimon talk and have personality.

I haven’t played pokemon outside very few gba games.

From the lack of reference, I like how you can use the digimons abilities here like X-Men Legends. You can fly with Birdramon, ride with Garurumon, use Palmon to cross to another side...

I just wish the big digimons like Birdramon, Togemon, Greymon, Garurumon were a little bigger. But I liked the size of Zudomon.

First episode is out. Animation seems solid so far. Interesting concept for the world and Digimon, even if I am horrified by privacy implications of these devices holding so much personal data, and people just following its advice. I look forward to Chiropmon's digivolution line as a bat and name reminding me of Blood+.

Murasamemon being an Ultimate was unexpected. I figured a Gatomon or Renamon situation.
