I knew today was going to be an off day....

you may not be impressed by the cgi work on 'children of men' but man, it's far from 'awful'. not like 'sony imageworks' awful. yes, i said it.

Okay, maybe awful was too strong a word. As far as cgi goes, it was very good. The detail and texture all that was excellent.

BUT... it still looked computer generated. It's in the movement or something. I don't know. Maybe this stuff just pops out at me more.

Not to mention, it was the epitome of unnecessary cgi.

But back to TDK... I'd rather see a toned down Two-Face that can be achieved with realistic prosthetics than an overly gruesome Two-Face that would require cgi and would most likely take me right out of the movie.

But the baby in 'Children of Men' was all CGI.

Here, most likely, is a combination of make-up and CGI, which is the most effective method for both mediums.

All Cinesite is going to do is (most likely) the eyes, and the jaw, not the entire head. SO it's hard to compare a CGI baby to Two-Face, despite all of the specualation

I don't mind that his face was green, I just didn't like how his face looked.

Exactly. The acid would f*** up your face big time. That is the kind of hideous scarring I want to see. It has got to be that way to drive Dent mad. I don't think a green face and green hair would do it.

in that the scarred side doesn't look evil. it's just gross-looking. doesn't seem capable of emotional expression. it's just a skull with some threads of musculature still clinging to it.

It's much more frightening then the green version IMO. that is what acid does, it burns. It doesnt drift your lower lip down, doesn't make it larger and doesn't turn your face green.
