Threw the movie some of the Decepticons started vanishing you've got Starscream, Barricade, and Scorpnok. They just vanished do you think this was done on purpose for possible sequel opener?:trans:

They just disappear? :whatever: just another reason this movie will suck...

Starscream didn't so much as vanish, as fall back in line with the other F-22s, followed in formation, and I just realized on my third viewing that, he was one of the jets firing on Megatron. I REALLY wish they had made that more obvious, and shown more of his rivalry with Megatron. After that he runs the hell away and goes back to outer space.

I assume Barricade saw Optimus own the **** out of Bonecrusher and turned tail and ran...and Skorponok is stuck in Qatar.

Barricade did disappear. Starscream will be back for the sequel. Skorponok will probably be back for the sequel.

Apparently, there was a scene taken out where Optimus defeated Barricade. It's why he was late in getting to the city..

i was thinking these too... thanks this thread helps

i knew about starscream but not that he fired on megs:wow:

and i was wondering what happedn to barricade

SS was shown in the after-credit sequence exiting earth's atmosphere. I assume Scopionox is roaming around the Middle East and Barricade, since his death was never shown, is serving SS,keeping and eye on the autobots

That's cool. Do we know if they filmed the scene, and got the cgi done?

After-credit sequence. There should be a rule that any after-credit sequence is mentioned on the Posters. I happy I know about it now and not after I've seen it.

I think there was one mentioned here about after the credit scenes....That's how I knew about it.

It's real quick though, you don't have to set through the ENTIRE credits.

So is it one of those, here are the stars, here's the scene, here's the rest? I like the ones after the whole credits better.

Sorry if you didn't want to know about them, but now ou know to stay through the credits because there are 3 scenes, the third being the one i mentioned. It's during the first 3 minutes of the credits so you don't have to stay so long, alot of people left before they came on which is why so many people are puzzled

- Starscream went into space.
- Barricade was on the aircraft carrier at the end of the film, so apparently, he was defeated, but the plot hole made it so we didn't see him die.
- Scorponok was the real plot hole. We could assume that he died in the ground because of the massive smackdown he got.

Yeah, only Barricade actually disappeared. As soon as the credits start, did people sprint out of the theater or something?

So many movies have after credits sequences or during credits sequences that I never leave the theater. It's not but a few extra minutes and the actual credits I can just talk to my friends until something good comes up.

Only Barricade has no real closure to his character. SS escaped, Scorponok retreats back into the sand. But then again, he could have met back up with Blackout, as Blackout was still flying over the dessert when Frenzy summoned them all together.

I bet there's a deleted scene where Prime kills Barricade. He showed up really late to the downtown fight.

are you 100% sure SS fired at Megatron?

that's so kick ass!

^Others have said the same thing. It's debatable imo. SS blends in with the other Raptors (to possible evade being attacked), then the Raptors fire at Megatron but yo can't tell who's who as they all look alike.

Everyone kept going while Prime was fighting Bonecrusher. That's why he was late o_O

In the comic book adaption of the movie it showed Barricade on the ship to be dropped in the water, however he Prime also killed him in the comic also. In the film this isn't made clear so we can't assume he was killed. I have collected alot of Comic Book adaptions of movies and they are never the same and always lack or add some scene. I didn't see him at the end in on the ship and I looked for him. Has anyone else seen Barricade at the ship? I hope not, why does comic book movies always kill off the bad guys?

I always walk out unless I know to do other wise. When I get a DVD I always check for clips at the end.

The book and comic for Star Wars Episode III had something like this. A Jedi named Shaak Ti was killed by Grievous in the original script and comic, and by Anakin in the book. But now she is going to be alive and well in a new video game.
I'm fine with this "plothole".
I just would think he's on Earth scouting for Starscream while he goes to Cybertron to gather new forces. Scorponok is probably still in the desert, and will become a legend in scary tales told to children.
