It's great to see more and more gay couples adopting.

Geoffrey Peterson! :applaud

Also, I'm trying to think of another poll question.

It seems her issue is that gays exist, period. Can't be seen by children in any setting or they'll turn gay!

Edit: And I just read that she once said that there's no proof LGBT people exist? Then what the hell does she have to worry about? Apparently there are no LGBT doctors.

Reading the article that gay adoptions are up, do you guys think it's easier for a female or male couple to get an adoption passed?

The Terminator 5 budget was decidely smaller than the previous movies.

It'll be better off for it ;)

It's the usual contradiction of extremists who are opposed to gay rights and equality. Gays don't exist but don't let gay doctors treat your children! There's a "gay agenda" and gays are all powerful beings that control everything...despite our being in the minority and having to fight for equal standing in this country.

I've never really thought about it. If I had to guess, I'd say women probably have it easier in the adoption process than men. There is a double standard when it comes to lesbians and gay men in the eyes of the public. (Two women together is somehow "hot" or more "ok" than two men being together because gay men somehow aren't really men.)

In Roman days, it was the exact opposite.

And since they keep calling the US the next Roman Empire... ;)

The sheer stupidity of people like Harvey is almost unbelievable. They're walking self-parodies.

Since when do doctors discuss their sexual orientation with their patients??

With a new thread comes a new poll! There is a lot of talk in DC and around the country about "DOMA". (The federal law defining marriage as being between a man and a woman.) The new poll addresses that issue specifically. Please be sure to vote!

I have no idea what she means by that.

And I'm not going to spend the time to figure out her crazy.

DENVER BRONCO QUARTERBACK KISSES MALE TEAMMATE ON THE FIELD
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/10/24/tim-tebow-denver-bronco-gay-kiss_n_1028621.html

I always find it interesting when people like Tim Tebow, who is a Focus on the Family spokersperson, kisses another man in front of thousands of people.

I also find it interesting that Adam Lambert kisses a man on an awards show and is banned from performing in the future on the same network and is censored but Tebow hasn't faced the same type of scrutiny.

"Gay Rights" is a ridiculous term. It's more accurate to say "Human Rights", being gay shouldn't have any bearing on your rights.

You said the exact same thing in the previous thread. I think that may have been the only comment you made in the previous thread as well.

I wonder if calling it Gay Rights puts off a number of people who would jump on board if it was called Human Rights.

I tend to repeat. It's a side effect or my life.

Should the Civil Rights movement have been called human rights instead too?
