🇺🇸 Discussion: General Election 2024, 🥥 VS 🍊

US News
Literally had an arguement with a friend who told me she still isnt sure who she will vote for, i was like are you ****ing kidding me, how can you be undecided the day of...

Based off my experience voting, ive been voting since 1990 and never missed an election, i would say this was my second largest crowd, the longest was the Bush/Kerry election, i waited 45 minutes to vote, this time was only 15 extra minutes, great crowd, very friendly, the poll workers were professional, well organized and funny, one of my better experiences

Let's make voting a chore, so you never want to do it again. :o

Got my absentee Michigan ballot a month ago and promptly turned it in. Never going back to in person voting. Think 2018 was the last time I voted in person but vividly remember how crappy it was having to stand outside in freezing temps with a ridiculous wait time saddled between Trump supporters in the 2016 election.

I prefer to vote in person day off, I only voted by mail once during the pandemic, otherwise i have voted in person ever single time since 90, i remember every presidental candidate i voted for (Clinton, Clinton, Gore, Kerry, Obama, Obama, Clinton, Biden and Harris)

Dukakis the tank riding invalid who was soft on crime. :o

Ugh, gonna be stressed out all day. Gonna try to find a show to watch to keep me calm. I hope this is all wrapped up by tomorrow morning.

But Bush versus Dukakis was 1988!?! Voter fraud! :o

I voted by mail. I am also never doing in person voting again, lol! I did so in 2022 and we had to bring the then autistic 3 year old and 1 year old with us. That experience sucked. Mail is so much better. I will only do it in person again if later on I am taking the now much older kids to show them how it works as a lesson. That's it

I only voted by mail for 2020, but I was worried with that one cause of all the USPS bs that led up to it, I prefer just Early Voting in person.

Voted for Kamala Harris, don't generally like her, often don't really approve of her, hasn't made much case for why the next 4 years would be better but she did make a case that the last 4 years were better than the previous 4 years and Trump is just way too extreme and intolerant as well as opportunistic on way too many issues including yes just denying and not accepting when he doesn't win, from that I want the election to be as not-close a win for Harris as possible.

So far just from the people i know, i know of 5 voting for Trump, 7 voting for Kamala and one undecided.

I only voted in person once in 2008 and waited in line for 45 minutes. Never again lol. Been voting by mail every election since then.

I've only ever voted in person. The longest I've ever waited was 20 minutes. Guess I'm lucky. Now I do first day of early voting as early in the morning as possible. Now let's get this done
