Biden doing that? Seriously doubt it.

Biden will be too busy kissing Trump’s feet while Trump tries to remake America into Putin’s Russia.

Him pulling back all ads and the Democrats around him being quick to reform Trump’s image even more so and faster than they did for Bush says it all.

Our only hope left is The Lincoln Project or some other group that will get in the mud with the elephants.

Speaking of having an out, something I've been thinking about since last night is if the attempt had been a success, I believe Biden would have bowed out of the race. After all, he's basically said that if Trump wasn't running he wouldn't be either.

I was going to compare to Giffords (D) but she resigned before 2012.

The attempted attack on Pelosi that got her husband didn't stop Democrats from losing the 2022 House elections. "David DePape believed Mrs Pelosi was part of a plot to 'manipulate the country' and 'steal votes from Donald Trump', a court in San Francisco heard."

This latest attack is obviously a larger profile incident.

But it will only raise his standing. When he's veep and the next assassination of Trump is successful the death of democracy is pretty much assured. :(
