The GOP senator serving as an anonymous source in the article says that Tim Scott is "well spoken". That reminded me of Biden labelling Obama as "very clean and articulate" back in 2007/08.

I didn't realize that Doug Burgum is worth 1.1 billion dollars, that makes him a more attractive candidate, if he's already made his fortune he won't be as reliant on corruption.

Two more things:

1) I wonder if Krist Noem's dog shooting will become historical trivia, like Michael Dukakis riding a tank or Dan Quayle spelling potatoe.

2) The article states the following, I wonder if it's true:
