🇺🇸 Discussion: Guns, The Second Amendment, NRA - Part II

US News
Why is it so important to carry a gun everywhere? Does it make them feel bad ass or something? I'm not hearing lots of stories about bystanders saving the day.

Some people think they are going to be the hero and pull some kind of movie stunt and save the day. Other people buy into the propganda guns are necessary to have even if they have no idea how to safely operate and use one. There is also plenty of "crime is everywhere" going on in the media despite the fact it's gone down and less than it's been in decades.

Combine that bravado and fear with someone who gets mad at someone else or should never have owned a gun in the first place and you get random shootings because it's just so easy to pull the trigger.

Everyone has a right to a gun, no one has a right not to be shot and killed by one.

Ban on guns in post offices is unconstitutional, US [Trump-appointed Florida] judge rules

Guns don't belong in workplaces except for trained security, let alone government offices.
Imagine being so afraid to step out of your front door that you have to carry a gun inside one of the most boring places in the country.
