or how Iran claimed to have counted 3 million votes in under 4 hours

Or scare people into not ****ing with him.

Oh, the police were keeping an eye on him, despite his legal right to open-carry in New Hampshire. The would have messed with him if he had slipped up, but then again, you read what I said about him wanting that to happen anyway.

Guns are a two-way street for me. On the one hand, the courts have ruled that the Second Amendment grants us a right to own a firearm for protection. On the other hand, gun violence is absurdly high in this country.

But... I tend to lean on the side of allowing people to have guns, and making the background check process much more arduous... rather than instituting any bans at all...

The fact that the 3 worst shootings in the last 5 years all bought their guns from the same website, causes me to pause and wonder......HOW THE **** DOES THAT HAPPEN?

Do you have an article about this?

Do you have an article about this?

It was on the news earlier this week....they actually interviewed the owner of the site, and he said that all were bought from his site, so it wasn't a news organization making something up....but I'll try and find an article about it.

Ok...here ya go...

This is an article from 2008 about a student accused in shooting 5 people at Illinois Univ., and the Virginia Tech shooter buying from the same website, out of Greenbay,

http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/02/15/university.shooting/index.html

and then another article about the guy that just shot those people at the gym in Pennsylvania also buying from the same website....

Well Kelly can be a male name you know. I also thought albafan was a guy at one point.

No problem.....

Yes at one point I had to post in pink around here....lol

What I'm actually more curious about is who obtained the weapon and then gave it to him? Normally, when you purchase a gun on a website you have to go through a 'middle man' (or store) of sorts a.k.a. a licensed gun dealer.

I don't know....I don't know much about the Illinois Univ. shooter, but the other two had a long history of crazy crap....and were both flagged, but still got guns...blows my mind.

When I think of 'flagged' I would assume that means he is under tight watch. You know, web activity, etc.

This is because are criminal laws are abyssmal. We have poorly paid police officers and in some cases poorly trained. We have a corrections system that is in the ****ter and not getting better.

In reality prisions are training grounds for a "better class of criminal" they go in for possession and come out with no skills or abilities to get a job turn to gangs, hard drug dealing, or robbery for their source of income.

Heh. You believe HER.

:D

Don't invite the wrath of Tweety.

I suppose everyone deserves they're guns...

I've heard gun shows are a good place to get guns too, with minimal red tape.

Everyone can a get a gun, if they want really. Legally or illegally.

Still...though. Wow.

I think that there should be no gun laws at all. If everyone has guns, society will break down much quicker, and I can live in my post-apocalyptic Mad Max style wasteland sooner rather than later, and be king of the midwest, ruling with an iron fist.
