All her nominations are deserved. Maybe not wins...
EDIT: And I mean to say it's less about the performance and more about the year/category. If Meryl were submitted in Lead she most likely would not have gotten nominated. There weren't really any other supporting actresses this year who deserved a nomination above Streep. :/
