The amount of content Disney+ is now getting is amazing, I have hardly used Netflix at all lately.
Wouldn't it fit better on Hulu? So, Firefly reboot anyone...?
This deserves a thread!
I was psyched but then I read what the show was going to be about and it sounds terrible
Okay, but are you positive you want to focus so much of this ad on Eternals?![]()
I think that the quick turnaround from theatrical release to Disney+ is definitely going to deter a good number of people from heading out to theaters. Not so much for the tried and true franchises like Avengers or Frozen where people will still show up regardless but moreso if there's another lesser-known property like Eternals that isn't met with unanimous praise. It's like, "you didn't see it in theaters, so watch it at home!"

I wouldn't necessarily call it good either, it's very middle of the road IMO but the way I see it, if the MCU is like a TV show and the Avengers movies have been like big season finales, then Eternals is more like a filler episode that expands on some world building but you don't necessarily need to have watched it to enjoy anything else in the MCU. At least not yet.I’m sure the movie is good. I just didn’t have that feeling of “I need to see this right now” like with Spider-Man
