Saw this movie today. It was fantastic. One of the best films I've seen in a long time.

so can we know admit that when people like a movie they dont complain about the little things and they dont bash every detail?

i like the movie but come on. the father was cliche. if Bay would do the same movie people would complain about the father 100%. how cliche he was.
CGI. it was good. it was good for 2009 and it was fantastic for the low budget. but on the same level as movies like transformers, indiana jones,TDK,supermanmspiderman,....? you have to be f... kidding me. a lot of people would complain about the movement of the robot at the end. 100%.

i hope that people will admit and realize that when they love a good story they dont care about the little details.

Going to see it tonight after being sidetracked for a while. O baby.

I will squeal like a virgin pig.

Hope you enjoy Eggyman.

Why, thank you. :awesome:

Edit: First time I've used that smiley, and I can honestly say I will never use it again. How one emote can make three little words seem so ******ed is beyond me.

You're welcome. :awesome:

Nice one. Can't wait to see it. I've heard very good things and have been very hungry for some scifi since the Terminator crapfest I endured.

Totally agree, Terminator Salvation but such a bad taste in my mouth.

Star Trek didn't do anything for you??

Never got round to seeing it... I know, I know. Never been a Trek fan, but wanted to give it a chance. I've had a manic year and've missed loads of films I wanted to see. I'll be giving it a go on DVD though.

I loved the new Star Trek.

It's not 95% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes because it's bad.

^Star Trek was good, very good in fact, but District 9 and Watchmen and possibly even Moon and Inglorious Basterds were better for me.

You know? I personally go out of my way to kill any one who has seen Moon.

I am beyond jealous of any one who has seen it. I haven't yet.

District 9 is better than Star Trek for sure. Better than Watchmen and Basterds.

Personal opinion, of course.

^Moon was really good, but its not as good as D9 was for me, but Moon is very good definately, very clever and emotional.
