Spielberg?
What film?
What film?
I agree. He has been chosing great or potentially great films to star in lately, but such small roles.isnt it enough with the small supporting roles? the guy is acting more then 10 years. hollywood knows that he has experiene and talent.give this guy a big movie where he is th main character.
Im MUCH more exited about his leading roles in small movies.I agree. He has been chosing great or potentially great films to star in lately, but such small roles.Im MUCH more exited about his leading roles in small movies.
Movie didn't sound interesting to me before but JGL just changed my mind. My undying love for him dictates that I see all of his films...atleast on DVD.
But Eckhart played Harvey Dent while JGL is playing a cop named John Blake. Even if he has more screentime, I cant imagine that character being very interesting compared to the other ones.Well, one of the articles indicated that Tarantino is reworking certain parts of the script... perhaps JGL's role will be pretty significant?
We also don't know if his role in TDKR is as small as it seems. He might have a lot more screentime than we are expecting. I don't think anyone expected Aaron Eckhart to have as big of a part in TDK until they saw it; perhaps it's the same for JGL.
And he was just in two movies where he played a lead (50/50 and Hesher) and is the lead in Premium Rush.
Will Smith and Idris Elba both passed.

Well, I'm sure there's more to the John Blake character than any of us are aware; if he were just a cop, they wouldn't have cast Joseph Gordon-Levitt. It probably isn't anything up there on the caliber of Harvey Dent, though.
Gordon, My God, James Gordon. Both start with the letter J and have in their first names. Both share Gordon. Both play cops.

Hey, you know something is fishy with John Blake.

Or "Joe" as his friends could call him.

BREAKING: Kerry Washington has won the role of Broomhilda in Django Unchained. Director Quentin Tarantino made his choice and The Weinstein Company began exclusive negotiations with her CAA reps last night. Shell play the long suffering slave wife of Django (Jamie Foxx), who is freed by a bounty hunter (Christoph Waltz) and taught the tricks of that trade. Djangos real desire is to be reunited with his wife, who winds up in a variety of unsavory places, and whose travails drive the plot. It leads to a confrontation in Candyland, a ranch owned by a the notorious Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio).
Tarantino had his eye on Washington from the beginning, but he was also intrigued with making a discovery in the role, and that led to a long casting search before the director went back to Washington for the female lead. Washington will next be seen in The Details, and she stars with Eddie Murphy in A Thousand Words.
