I have issues with people who on the whole judge body modification in the same genre as self- harm. Just because tattoo/piercing/scarification cause pain doesn't mean that the wound done in the process is the point of the procedure.

Yes, but the results are way different. I'm not into scarification, but I have respect for people who can do it well.

I wouldn't trust one of those places to be sterile enough. I doubt they're all hospital grade sterile.
