not afraid to say i own it
sad as it was

alicia silverstone was hotter than hell in that batsuit

I do own it, but its single disc. I bought it around the time Begins came out. All of the Bat films were going for 7 bucks at Wal Mart so I picked it up. And yes, I like the film. Its probably the best comedy of 1997.

I bought the anthology, but I would have got it anyway. I am a completist.

I got it when it came with the Anthology, but even if it didn't come with it I would have bought it any way for the sake of completion. I still watch it from time to time.

I had to get it with the Anthology, but I only watched the special features of it. I don't dare watch the actual movie anymore.

I can remember being excited for it back in 97. And now, 11 years later, I laugh at it, and can't believe I went to see it in the theaters 3 times. I guess I didn't pick up on all the camp when I was paying 6.00 a viewing.

I took it up to FYE for trade in, and apparently, they couldn't take it because they already had soo many copies of it. So the guy just kinda laughed when I gave them my copy...he was like "sorry dude, we can't take anymore of these, everyone brings this movie in, It's the Gigli of Batman Films.

Forever had it's tolerable moments. But man, was it a prelude of the camp that was going to come. The Batmobile driving up the wall, Two-Face (ugh), the annoying civilians that Batman saved. Especaillly the first cop in the bank and the ear piece.

"Gonna haft to barrow this.":csad:

I proudly own the two-disc special edition!

It deserves a watch every 5 or 6 years for Michael Gough's wonderful performance at the very least.

"It deserves a watch every 5 or 6 years"

They should put that on the cover :hehe:

6 or 7 years ago, my parents bought the Batman Anthology (the single disk version) as something for "the entire family to share."

I would never put forth my own money towards that god-awful movie, though.

I like Batman and Robin. Is it the best BATMAN Movie? no way. I like the tributes to the Dick Sprang era of the 40's and 50's. I really like Michael Gough's performace as Alfred.

Yes, but only because it came with the anthology. I'm still trying to think of a particularly nasty way to dispose of it though. Suggestions?

I own all of the special edition DVDs with the exception of "Batman Returns". It bugs the hell out of me that the Burton-Schmuacher films seem to be out of print for the time being. I'm guessing that they'll be rereleased when "The Dark Knight" comes out on DVD.

Yeah because it wouldn't feel right if you didn't get it. No matter how terrible it was, it was still part of the Burton/Shumacher series.

see we can sival about it, i enjoyed the film, there shoot me, s**t on me whatever, i can take it because its the choice noone else can make, the right choice

Saw a cute melding of movies on youtube the other day.....Superman (Routh from Superman Returns)blows his freeze breath and freezes Robin from Batman and Robin. It got me thinking....I may try and blend some other comic book movies together myself.
