O'Donnell for me was good as Dick Grayson on Forever, but once inside of the Robin suit he was Burt-Ward-awful. Happily Grayson had the most screentime and was maybe the only version of this character that didn't make me wanna puke.

I enjoyed some of the run-ins between he and Batman (Kilmer only) but I think that ultimately he didn't LOOK like Robin. He felt too old to be taking orders from a guy who was really just the same size as he was. Who's to say who would have won if they'd fought in the movies? I know that's Batsphemy to say on here but all I'm saying is he was too old to be learning humility the way a 15 year old does. I don't think O'Donnell really fits well as Nightwing OR Robin, but that's not to say I didn't like the costumes. I thought they were both great. Better than Batman's even... but not Keaton's Batsuit.

I went to high school with Chris at Loyola, I remember him being a heck of a nice guy, ultimately that may have been his undoing. I think when i see him in his robin performances, he never strikes me as a suitable side kick to a Batman. In order to be Bats sidekick you have to convey a menacing persona, ...maybe menacing isn't the right word, but whatever I envision Robin being, I think Chris fell short of the mark. Good actor, but he never embodied the character. To me...

he was alright they could have chosen someone better dunno who though

i dont like robin anyways batgirl is way better though

I felt O'Donnell was a little too old for the part when I first saw Batman Forever back in '95, but I felt he did a fairly decent job with what he had to work with.
