Do you think Girls Gone Wild is...

I'm dont get why a girl would "flash" in public in the first place..what does that say about her!

I wouldn't do it for that cheap. :o

No, I probably would.

I wouldn't need the alcohol, and I wouldn't feel bad about it later, either.

Yeah but would you do it for a crowd of yelling jock boys?

I'm of two minds about this. You won't find a girl like me in a GGW vid, because going to a club/bar and getting so drunk I'd flash my boobs in public for free is not my thing. If I were going to willingly go naked in public, I'd better be sober and paid A LOT of money. (Being a stripper is more dignified than appearing in a GGW vid, IMO. At least you're getting paid to do it.) It does say something about the girls in the videos.

But it still doesn't excuse the sleaziness of Joe Francis and his cameramen.

In related news, Joe Francis (the schmuck behind GGW) is scheduled to go on trial tomorrow for federal tax evasion. The feds say he made false deductions totaling $20 million and faces up to 10 years in the pokey, plus fines.

I'm the last person who makes these speeches(due to my love of porn)but it makes women look like objects. Women have fought to be equals in the work place for a long time but it seems to get thrown out the window because in videos like these, they are viewed as sex objects. But that can also be said for those axe commercials when all those girls basically jump on the guy for sex. With all that being said........................

Nevermind. I don'twant to kill my own point.

I'm pretty sure it's awesome. Less awesome with each passing year after your 16th birthday, but still awesome

I still don't get what's so "awesome" about young girls showing their not-fully-developed boobs to the world while drunk

Just like I don't know how video vixens are considered celebrities or porn stars heroes(Heather Hunter). It's just one of the mysteries of life.

Haha, ok. I'm perfectly willing to watch one, I just don't understand the huge appeal.

I'd much rather watch decent porn.

But I think the appeal is that they are "real" girls as opposed to models or pornstars.

:lmao:

I'd be surprised if half of them weren't aspiring models of some sort.

Of course stuff like this objectifies women. And the women in stuff like this objectify themselves.

Is it right? I don't know, is being desirable or showing that you're ok and free with your sexuality wrong? That's a whole different topic. Ask yourself not whether the show or program is right, but whether it's right that society allows this to happen. People (young girls) buy into this for a reason, and it's not just because it's sold to them at every turn on shows or movies.

Different girls do things like GIRLS GONE WILD for different reasons. Some of them are drunk (you don't do things drunk you wouldn't otherwise be inclined to do on some level), some of them are paid, actively recruited. And some of them just want to be "famous".

Not all those girls have no self esteem, some of them are just "wild". And these girls don't stumble into a situation ot knowing what's going to happen. GIRLS GONE WILD "parties" are large casting calls, and girls go to these bars knowing full well what's going to go on there.
