I think it's degrading and lame, but the guy who came up with it is a frickin genius. Everyone goes to Spring Break to see girls flash the crowds...why not tape it and sell it? There's been a lot of trouble with underage girls, however...the creator has been sued for it in the past.

I believe the creator of the series did jail time for an underage girl being involved in the series, actually.

That said, it's exploitative as hell and they do seem to prey on the inebriated girls which is circumspect. However, at this point in the game, any girl who gets involved with the GGW people and participates doesn't really get my sympathy because they should know better by now that they are just being exploited. Most of them don't get paid for it, from what I have read. They just get a bunch of free drinks, sign a release form and then are encouraged to be "naughty". As pervasive and well known as those videos are now, there's simply no excuse for a girl to get sucked into that. When it first started up and people didn't know much about what they were doing, I can somewhat understand these girls getting scammed into doing it, but not anymore. I'm all for expressing your sexuality and your freedom to do with it what you choose, but if you're going to bang another girl on video then at least go do it somewhere where you'll get paid for it and there are some STD testing and regulations involved.

I watch porn and in my opinion Girls Gone Wild is some of the crappiest pornographic material out there. it's near impossible to get turned-on by it. All it is is some dude with a camera talking to chicks and begging them and begging them to flash the camera or perform some sexual act. Sure, sometimes the girls are mega-hot college-age chicks.... but I can't stand the guy begging and begging the girl.... and it's all so pathetic and mostly just teases. I mean, seriously... if you've seen one hot chick's boobs you've seen them all. How this series keeps going is beyond me...

I think it depends on the person. Some members are cool and laid back, while others can be kind of obsessive (not that I'm naming names... *gestures towards JAL*).

As long as you cancel the credit card as soon as you order, a friend ordered a Girls Gone Wild tape once when I was in college, just to see what it was like. A year later he keep getting new tapes sent to him once every month or two and charged to his credit card, even after calling to have them stopped. Had to finally cancel the credit card to finally get Girls Gone Wild tapes to stop arriving.

Personally I don't care about GGW, but pornos need to show and have a girl state that she's not, "drunk, on drugs and doing this of my own free will", I think that's a fair standard to apply to any of these things. I think most of the girls in the videos knew exactly what they were getting into but even if 1 in a 100 were just blitzed drunk and out of control then to tape and profit from that after feeding her more drinks is just ****ed up.
