Just wondering. Every time a new superhero movie is announced (for either DC or Marvel). You see dozens of threads suggesting this person or that person for a particular role. I have always wondering if anyone from the studios or the actual production team for that particular movie is even reading the threads (not necessary from this forum. But, anywhere.)? And if they do...Do you think it matters what we all think?

On a side note has their ever been an actual mention where a studio has said they looked to the net to form a decision?

Is someone reading the forums....maybe.

Does it matter what we think......no.

^ Yes, if we are all on the same page (Frank Miller doesn't get Superman, and shouldn't be consulted for that character. MOS was rapidly edited, etc.) No, if we generally disagree (like every other issue, LOL)

Pretty much.

They'd be stupid not to IMO. Yes alot of forums may be full of crazy people and trolls but there will always be a lot of genuinely good forum members who cant wait to see their film and even after all the money spent on marketing and changes for a general audience, these are the people who are ultimately going to see your film.

I don't know about directors, producers, and writers but some actors/actresses have admitted to going on forums such as this one after they were cast in a role.

Alright guys you got me, I'm actually Amy Adams.

And you guys can kick rocks...I'm going to kiss my man in the middle of mass destruction if I want to.
