The Avengers Do you think Thor should get a muscle suit?

That's what I'm guessing. Maybe Hemsworth is his 'earth' form.

I highly doubt they're giving him an "earth" form. Hemsworth is playing Thor, not "Guy who Thor transforms into"

You mean Donald Blake? I don't see how they're going to work that off?

It's already been said by Kenneth Branjkhgal isn't going to put Donald Blake in the Thor movie. So, there's no gimpy alter-ego. I never said I wanted Thor huge, I just would like to see an extra inch on his frame. You can be cut and still skinny as hell. Look at Doug Jones.

I don't see what you guys have a problem with here.

Chris is bulking up well and looks great, if you wanted someone like Arnold or HHH then Thor would not be as agile as he looks in the comic.

He still has a good 6month's before shooting starts in pretty sure he will look impressive.

I think some people on here have expectations far too high on what someone can do muscle-wise in the time given.

No. He's already pretty big. This is a shot from 'A Perfect Getaway'

Now imagine what he'll look like by January if he's training and working out even harder?

He needs to be pretty big, he is meant to be a god so he needs to be impressive.

:wow: Dude! I'm impressed! I think he looks the part. And like everyone else is saying he still got 6 months to get even more in shape. I'm not really a Thor fan (mainly because I never read any of the comics) but I am getting more & more pump for this movie as time goes by

Imagine Chris Hemsworth in the picture above with long blond hair holding Mjolnir. He is Thor!

In terms of hair I think it should only go down to the base of his neck or so, otherwise it may look too girly. Not like a mullet though. Maybe even shorter, halfway down his neck.

THOR, at least the version I read, is about the powers he has and his heroism without them, not about how big he is. I think he'll look great.

I have to see pics of Hemsworth post-workout to really decide, but even if he winds up being "small," I'm against a muscle suit.

Thor, more than any other superhero, should have the ability to be strong without necessarily looking strong. He's a god, you know, and god's are supposed to be able to do stuff like that, right? And Thor was probably only drawn so darn big because 90% of comic book men are drawn too big to begin with, and in order to make him stand out and appear more godly among the already freakishly muscular, he had to be drawn especially large.

I just don't want them to make Thor look like a pale hulk with blond hair and armor.
