Let's suppose X3 makes a GAZILLION dollar and they want to make X4 (which probably will happen) FROM WHAT YOU KNOW SO FAR of the story do you want simon kinberg and zak penn to return as the writers of the movie?

personally i say "HELL NO" i read the novelization and from what i heard (the dialogues) i would say to them plz plz plz plz keep away from our beloved franchise.

It's premature to answer that question now!

Personal feelings of Cyke's demise aside, I'll wait to answer that after the 25th/26th.

HELL NO.

Get David "Solid Snake" Hayter back in the game, a man with such an awesome voice talent writes better stories IMO.

i'd only let them write action scenes and bring a comic flavor to the film like david goyer did BB. Then, I'd get a screenwriter whos better than average to write the meaty stuff....

HAHA...I really do not yet know but from what we have yet far...without spoilers...I say why not.

LOL
yep i still think kinberg and penn did a horrible job especially that they ignored cykes fans and even lied to them.

X4: Mr and Mrs Wolverine

the ultimate plothole

Title by S.Kinberg
Subtitle by Z. Penn

I'll wait and see how they did.
What I really want is for the movie rights to go to Sony. I'm so sick of FOX and their damn politics and gimmicks.

Isn't that the guy that said that Gambit was a mix of Cyclops and Wolverine and would never have a big part in the movies? If so, Hell No to him.
As far as Kinberg and Penn go, I will hold judgment for the 26th.

I'll answer after the movie...

I'd be unsure about the writers of X1 and X2 returning, as they gave Storm such a bum deal (and Cyclops a bum deal in X2), and they omitted Wolverine's past connections with Deathstrike and Sabretooth among other things... I'm also unsure about Joss Whedon and people here don't seem to want Chris Claremont anywhere near the movies...

I think any 'issues' are the fault of studio politics and Fox, not the writing.

To be honest, utterly honest, I'd like to have a go at co-writing - you all saw my imagined Storm dialogue, you know I could do it. But that's just dreaming! I can tell you something, I have the utmost respect for the X-Men lore of the comics.

Amen to that! Claremont is teh suck!

I'm surprised the movie looks good judging by the trailer and clips. Kinberg just doesn't do anythig for me. The man past credentials has me worried. Catwoman, and XXX2? I'm nervous as hell.

not everything is entirely their fault...when Vaughn left as director...decisions were made and a lot of what was written was changed...who knows if it was for the better or not...but, Vaughn it seemed...had the right approach based on casting alone...who knows what parts of the script would've been left in...Zak Penn and S. Kinberg being involved in the next one would be okay by me...but they'll need to bring David Hayter back as well.
