I live in Vanouver, WA and I know the hardcover book is out w/the SCRIPT in it. Though I am currently jobless, I have no means (well I got means but it'd be irresponsible for me to spend the money) to buy the book and the local 7 libraries in the area don't have this book or have it on order.

I need the script. If anyone has a word doc or a PDF file be it official or scan of the pages from the book, I would appreciate a link or PM or email w/the script ([email protected]).

Again, if anybody can get it to me that'd be appreciated... some1 has to have it! PLEASE!

I'm afraid I dont fella but I will keep this on page 1 as it woudl be cool to read it!!

i hope somebody scans the hardcover book or the script leaks or something...

id really appreciate it from anybody (word, pdf, any kind of open office or something any type of doc or webpage)...

I have the screenplay myself (I bought the book with the screenplay and the novelization) but I have not seen it in pdf anywhere.

Parts 1 and 2 are on this site http://pdfscripts.weebly.com/ But you will have to check back here for updates because they will eventually release the whole thing on here.

That script can't be real. There are tons of grammatical errors. There are some huge differences in some of the scenes/lines. And the script was written by Jonathan & Christopher Nolan. Not just Jonathan.

-WsS?

It's not - what screenwriter have you ever seen format like that?

thanks for the links yall, this helps ease my state of sickness

Nearly everything about that file, font, usage of caps, directorial decisions in the script, all point to that being ridiculously fake.

I Would Be Kind Enough But It's Really Annoying To Have Thread Titles With Cap's On!!!!

Yeah. That script is definitely not the real deal.

"I want to hear the Joker's opposition."

haha

Wow. Is that something that actually bothers you? I mean, who cares? Why would you post that?

(on topic)

I'd love to see the screenplay, a lot of the dialogue was very quick and muddled.

Y'know what else is really annoying? Typing every word in sentence case.

On topic, the "script" in the hardcover appears to be only a formatted transcript of the movie, rather than the shooting script as it would have appeared on set. As for whether a screenplay will become available, I'd just keep checking sites like Script Buddy. I don't know where you're located, but larger film schools like USC or NYU generally have screenplays in their libraries, and you could always check with them as well.

It could be possible that the guy typed the script from that book that was released with the screenplay. That may be why it has grammatical and format errors. Of course I could be wrong but that's what I was thinking when I first saw this so called script of The Dark Knight. I knew the format wasn't correct but neither was Michael Chabon script of Spider-Man 2. I just figured the guy didn't know how to correctly format a script and just type what he saw in the book.
