Pretty sure they didn't make a batman begins one but it would be awesome to have a graphic novel of the film dark knight, or at least a book on the making of the film. Has anyone heard anything?

I'm pretty sure they did.

I read the batman begins comic book. It was dull, but it did have some interesting comics included inside it i.e. "the man who falls."

Ok now this is just getting silly. We got this thread and the video game thread. Should we expect a thread asking if there will be action figures?

I think they've made graphic novels for every Batman movie. I know they did for the first three, because I had them. And I know they made one for Begins as well, the only one I'm not certain of is Batman and Robin. Maybe they didn't even bother with that one.. lol. But I'd say yes, there probably will be a graphic novel for this movie.

Why do people get so upset when someone makes a new thread? This is the most anal board I've ever been on.

Seriously I'd rather have a constant flow of new threads than have to revisit the 17,000 post thread where I have no idea what's going on.

There'll probably be a comic adaptation, along with a TPB with it and some comic stories, most likely with both Batman & The Joker, ala BB.

I actually share the same opinion. And I don't care that it's a new thread, I'm just addressing the actual subject. If all these questions came up at the end of the 17,000 post thread I make the same comment about action figures.

yeah, but most other boards have less news as well and more blind speculation. i mean, this board has PLENTY of blind speculation. but any other board i go on for anything isn't as informative as this one. even if the "veterans" give the "noobs" sh-t sometimes.

There's also just waaaaaaaay more traffic here than most other message boards. Some of these threads are practically chat rooms. The other board I post on has a new thread every 5 seconds about whatever the person decides they want to talk about. It doesn't really matter there because there aren't enough posters to have an effect on the the bandwith.

indeed. i understand the issue of not starting new threads when they arent needed. but i also understand the problem people who aren't here all the time have with finding the info they want.

And what's the point of keeping strict threads? No one stays on topic anyways. Make a thread to talk about whatever you want, just stay on topic imo.

its a bandwidth issue. i guess if there a lot of people in a lot of threads it spreads out the bandwidth and can cause a crash.

I could not agree more, some of us here need to relax

That's strange. Maybe they should change the format.

I post on a site called GameFAQs as well and they have jillions of super-fast paced boards and they never have problems. weird.

Yeah, I'm more laughing at this thread than really bothered that it exist. I understand why they want to limit threads, but there are two things on this board that drive me CRAZY.

1 - when someone does start a new thread, it doesn't matter if it's a random question like this one or a valid discussion. There are always these replies:

Does this really need its own thread?

GUYS WE GET IT! All you're doing is bumping the pointless thread back up and back up and back up, etc. It's adding to the problem if it's a useless thread. And there are seriously some posters, non-mods, that do nothing but post that and how a thread should be closed. Like they're hoping that the Mods will see them and promote them into the club or something.

2 - Sometimes there are totally valid conversations. Like really good new topics started about something particular about a certain character that could make for great conversation. But it gets closed and tossed into a general thread about that character and gets drowned out by that thread being 15,000 posts deep and gone way off topic.

Vent over.

I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship.

LMAO. Too true.

On topic:

Yeah, they always have done "graphic novels" for the films. Even Catwoman. The BEGINS one was awful but the bonus story were nice.

Bruce wayne won't be batman if DC decides to rape my childhood and kill him.

wow didn't know I was opening such a can of worms by creating this. Sorry I'm a "noob" - fact is I really don't want to be a "veteran" on a batman message board, I feel weird enough being on here in the first place.

Actually you inspired the Action Figure thread, therefore you're now a legend on a Batman board. Feel the geek oozing on you?!
