We do know Warners COMMISSIONED writers to do multiple (at least two) drafts of a JLA movie.
True, but I meant we know nothing official about the production beyond the script.
I think the studio has run the numbers between the two. They probably feel they can make the same or more with a JLA movie. It's probably a tossup at this point. But they won't make both. They figure as long as the public sees Supes and Batman, they'll see it. The average movie goer doesn't know Singer from Adam. The average fan also doesn't care which they get. I doubt too many people are clammering for either one at this point. They've waited too long for even a tidbit from the SR sequel. My guess is, they feel they can capitalize on the Batman restart and the lackluster Superman restart and make a bigger splash with JLA. Honestly, I don't think any regular movie fan gives a crap about either one.
