Does anything suck about this movie?

Hey, somebody gotta ask. I mean, this movie looks so f***ing uber awesome, is there anything at that sucks from the trailer or you think will suck about this movie?

I think that some of the special affects will suck. The makeup on Ephialtes in particular looks very silly IMO. But overall I dont think there will be anything that can keep this movie from being as kickass as it looks.

And also something not that I didn't like it , but didn't understand , it was all those scenes , with the spartans jumping forward , and protecting themselves with shields against like Bombs ????? I mean Bombs or something like that ? The scene looks cool as hell , but I'm still like , bombs ?

Gunpowder, Roman Fire, and other things of that sort were being used around that time, especially if the armies were based in the Orient. It not that far a leap in disbelief.

Make-up wise, what the hell do you want? Thats what the character looks like in the GN. And it's a guy in make-up, not some funky CG creation, so you onlu have so much to add.

As for anything about this movie that could suck, to me it is FAN'S with overinflated exspectations being dissapointed because it wasn't the 2nd coming of (insert religious savior or favorite comic book film here). Just remember, it's based on the GN, so simply just expect a translation of what you read there.

I find absolutely no problem with the running time. Its 2 hours pretty much, and saying as how the first cut was an hour and 45 minutes, i think we lucked out.

what?! they're badass... the immortal/elite fight scenes are frickin' awesome!! some of the best... you'll see

but I'll say... the female nudity outweights the male nudity 2 scenes to 1... not counting the fact that they're half-naked the entire movie, but complete naked, 2:1 female to male (so it's a good sign).

There's one thing that sucks...

The Running Time, It should be alot longer!

^ Nah, I thnk that running time is perfect. Remember this is an extremely intense movie with few breaks in it. Some of the early reviews have even said how it almosts exhausts you just watching it because it is so high-octane. Any longer adn people would literally get tired fo the film. Not to mention that there isn't THAT much of a story so there isn't really a need for it to be longer.

2 hours is perfect. 117 mins = 3 mins under 2 hours. Are some of you thinking it's 1 hour and 17 mins? LOL I don't want it to be as long the LOTR films or Gladiator. They already added more stuff in addition to what's in the book. 2 hours is better then most which are only 1 1/2 hours long.

Haven't found anything that sucks about it so far. Hell, I thought Gerard Butler was always kind of a sissy and 300 makes him look like the biggest movie badass of the decade.
