Iron Man 2 Don Cheadle joins IRON MAN 2!!!

Maybe my hearing or speakers are s**t but I could bearly make out the dialogue.

I'm not going to judge Cheadle's performance because I haven't seen it but I'm still not upset by this recast because s**t happens and he is the better actor.

I couldn't either. The only way I could understand anything is because Keyser Soze provided some dialog in a footage description he wrote up a few days ago. Forget Mickey's speech; even with Keyser's description I couldn't make anything out. I'm crossing my fingers we get an official version online here soon.

I like Cheadle and am not bothered by the recast but I can't blame anyone who wanted an actor who more closely physically resembled Howard.

I never much worried about the look. Honestly, Cheadle looks more like Rhodey's traditional depiction than Howard did.

Nah, just having the one makes it all that more special, like "aaaawww ****, it's the shoulder minigun!" You don't really get that effect with two, then it's like Stark's repulser beams.

Now that I think of it, I'm glad he's only got the minigun.

I mean for Christ sakes, it's a ****ing minigun, the fastest most powerful gun to-date.

I'm not against recasting if it makes it a better film. Think Maggie G in The Dark Knight. Cheadle is a better actor than Howard. Continuity - well, IM2 may be a sequel, but should still stand on it's own as a separate movie somewhat. I'm open to it.

Cheadle looks more like Rhodes than Howard ever did.

Even though I think Idris Elba (Obsessed) would've been a better pick than the both of them.

Neither look exactly like the comic Rhodes, but I'm happy with Cheadle. Looking at the screen of him in the War Machine armor, he just pulls it off.
