He shouldn't have ever been fired. And sorry white folk on here, but most black women do have nappy hair.
I don't listen to Imus but good for him for getting back on the air.
And Sharpton did call some white jewelers trying to move into Harlem as "white interlopers" then later apologized.
I partly agree with you because if he had gotten huge ratings he wouldn't have gotten fired but at the same time he still did get fired for what he said...thats dangerous. If his rating were stronger, he wouldn't have been fired.
But it's Imus. His ratings will always be ****
Because Sharpton doesn't have a job per se?Doesn't matter he still said it....Imus apologized and still got canned....what makes Sharpton so friggin special...?
Jackson and Sharpton rely on keeping the racial divide between blacks and everyone else open so they remain relevant
They won't. To this day, Sharpton has never apologized for the Tawana Brawley fiasco.Offtopic: I'm still wondering when the so-called black leaders, Sharpton and Jackson, are going to admit that they were wrong about that Duke rape case thing.
I'm not familar with that case. They won't. To this day, Sharpton has never apologized for the Tawana Brawley fiasco.
1987! Damn, thats why I wasn't really familar with the case. Thanks for the article.
I would say it's the racial divide in itself in America that keep Sharpton and Jackson relevant.
this guy gets ratings???
How many nationally syndicated "black radio shows" are there?
Steve Harvey (I'm not sure if he still has a radio show) around/during the time of the whole Imus scandal did a bit where he was making fun of southern people as barely out of the 4th grade making, country bumpkins.
