Well, Donkey Kong 64 was apart of the DKC series too.

There was Jungle Beat, too, and the DS games.

We haven't had Zelda or a Metroid playable.

Well Jungle Beat took on a severly different route from the DKC games. Everyone from Country (Diddy, Dixie, Kranky, the Kremlings, K. Rool, his animal pals, pretty much everyone except Donkey) weren't in, the settings were different, the gameplay was different. It felt more like a whole new side-series than a continuation of the Country games.

I'm very excited about this game, and I think it'll go well with last year's Super Mario Bros. game. Hopefully if this does well, DK will be getting his series rolling again
