The Dark Knight Don't want to get too excited.

what? most major franchises do that.

P.S. miranda what info bout the action in tdk do you know?

There's a difference between Singer's SkinnyMan Returns and Nolan's works of cinematic art :o

I reckon it'll be there again, it seems like a deliberate way to bring us into each chapter of the story with that Bat camera wipe. Just a different sky colour or something.

keeping things exactly the same? come on even Spiderman tweaked its opening sequence to benefit the movie its opening.

i'm trying to recall which franchises kept their opening sequence the same. The X-Men changed theirs, Burton's Batman changed his on both his movies, even all 4 of Reeve's Superman movies had different openers (but the same style of presenting the credits), LOTR had a different opening for each, cant recall for the Matrix sorry, Star Wars opened the same for all six with the crawl but the contents were different, again it fit the story its opening.

listen i dont mind the mutiple bats on the opening sequence, but there has to be something new to this, a new spin, because as i mentioned to keep things exactly the same is so unimaginative.

It's fake because the structure and format is all wrong.

The title and writer's credit takes up a whole page, not the top of the page.

There is no "FADE IN:" at the beginning of the script. No official script is plagued with these kinds of errors, not even Rob Zombie's leaked Halloween screenplay (and that had spelling errors in it too)

Ubu's info indicated it did have the same opening with the bats so, in that respect, it doesn't prove this isn't real.

David Nolan on the other hand...

ahahah welcome back fox- haven't chatted in a bit. PS david nolan is my favorite of the 3 nolan brothers (artistically speaking of course. he's an ass in public) :woot:

GOT IT. Going to read it to see how legit it sounds. I'll try to sneak downstairs and use one of the scanners and post the first page.

Good luck amigo!! You better watch out for these :ninja: guys though! LOL

It's a paper copy, guy who owns the comic shop by him gave him the copy. He's only letting me borrow it so I will try and scan it as quickly as possible. Going to be a bit selfish and read it first :D

Ah, so your guy who is in the art department got the script from a guy who owns a comic shop?

First, why would the comic shop guy have it, and second, why would someone in the art department need to get it from an outside source?

Or did I mis-undestand and your guy isn't in the art department for TDK?

yeah but Singer was doing that on purpose, partly out of homage, partly due to associating this film with the events that happened in the Donner films.

i dunno, it doesnt feel like its Nolan's style to recycle the opening sequence. they said they're gonna step up their game, and you're not exactly doing that if the opening to the sequel is no different from the first.

Why not? He's never done a sequel yet, so we don't know what would be like him to do.

As it is part of the same franchise, why NOT use the same opening? Make it a trademark of the series.

I personally would have loved for ALL the old Superman films to open the same, but they didn't sadly, which became just one of the many tells of the inferior directors at the helm.

PM to me as well. a little skeptical but i'll give you the benefit of the doubt 8atman

I concur. Nolan has never done a sequel, so for all we know, he could have flashbacks to Begins. The man loves flashbacks.
Hmm... I wonder if he's a fan of Family Guy? :oldrazz:

Are you people not listening to me? The script is fake and the formatting is all wrong.

Not only that, but apparently ‘David’ put in a new ribbon to type the title and then—for some obscure reason—decided to put his old ribbon back in to type the script...

... LOL!

^^LMAO!
Perhaps this film will be directed by Christopher Goyer.
That's called plot twist. ;)

LMAO! :joker:

Too early for script leaks, IMO.

Well, she said that Selina Kyle would be mentioned, but I don't recall it being at the end, particularly the last scene.
