You know what? F--- DC comics. That's all I have to say and that's where I'm really coming from.
Hahaha. Listen to RDJ. This is some funny stuff. I don't think he even means what he said; he's intelligent enough to know that this will endear him to Marvel fans. However, Marvel vs DC is a foolish feud to begin with imho. I like Iron-man and Batman. Have for years and always will. I hope both continue to thrive, but I don't understand his point about TDK being 'high-brow'. It wasn't difficult to follow at all.
Really, a mere bachelors to understand a film? Please: A CPA can do your taxes, but if he can't follow film developments, he'll take away less from a film than some high-school dropout who's obsessed with the character or an avid fan. He makes it seem like Darren Aronofsky directed it.
He still gets major credit for saying that publicly. The funny thing is that he's in WarnerBros - Guy Ritchie' helmed - new version of Holmes. I wonder how those preliminary conversations will go/went.
Warner Pres: So, Robert, we're glad to have you on board as Holmes. Quick question though: we read one of your interviews.
RDJ: Wtf are you talking about?
Warner Pres: You said, and I quote: '**** DC comics!'
RDJ: Nope, that wasn't me. ****ing liars. I don't curse.
Warner Pres: We also have audio of you saying it again. . . .and again.
RDJ: Hey, look man. That's probably photoshop.
Warner Pres: Uh, photoshop? That's a visual feature.
RDJ: Let me give you something visual. *flips the bird* Marvel for life!!!
Warner Pres: Are you high right now?
RDJ: Look man! I've never been high-brow! Who does Nolan think he is! I bet he thinks that he could play Sherlock.
Warner Pres: Technically, he does look the p--
RDJ: And I played a dude DISGUISED AS ANOTHER DUDE MUTTAFUKKA!!!
