All you'll get from ROtSS is his Kong's mask. Actually, there aren't possible good pics of him in this particular movie.

What was more pointless? The mask or the board? Everyone is talking about how the mask was useless. But why exactly did Doom want the board? He didn't even try attacking the FF until they attacked him. Did he just want to fly around for fun or what?

He wants "POWER!!! Sweet power!" That is my major problem with Doom in the franchise. He just cares about getting power, but doesn't have a bigger plan at hand. He suffers most from bad characterization. All of the four, and even SS have better characterization than him. Heck, even Galactus' had a big plan. To consume energy from planets so he can survive (or something like that)

Why does Doom want unlimited power? What does he plan on doing with it? The audience needs to see/hear this, so they know what his motivations are, imo.

There's actually no real clear iconic moment of unveiling unless you count the pretty awesome one where he stares into the sky and raises his hands with the Power Cosmic.

I know a lot of people don't like Julian McMahon as Doom...but, I thought he was great...I honestly loved every conniving moment he was on screen. Again his story, the myth, the lore behind him and how he goes out at the end of this movie

Yeah, I don't understand why keeping him in armor all the time is so hard. I can get behind the parts where he was scarred but it's become as annoying as the Spider-Man movies where all the actors just take off their masks for no reason and reveal their faces. They should have just left him scarred and have him wear the armor from that point onwards to mask his hideous appearance since it's a justifiable reason that comes close to why comic Doom does it.

I suppose it's because the actors might have some sort of clause in their contract saying that their face has to be shown but eh screw that. Just go at it in full Doom gear.

agreed i think the unmasking in Spider-Man 3 was pretty annoying, and Doom definently needed to be in suit more

but you know why it's done, don't you? filmmakers complain that a mask takes away the performance and expressions from the actor. It's better to see the feelings behind the mask then having the mask cover up what could be a stellar performance through facial expressions.

I however don't agree with this statement by people such as Sam Raimi. Just look at V for Vendetta. Nuff' said.
