The new movement stuff looked good and the fire effects from the mage were pretty good, like setting up a fire wall on what looked like a bridge.

Still waiting to see some of the party mechanics in action though.

In Dragon Age 1, can you do the ritual and still sacrifice yourself?

Yeah, you can do it in a number of ways, you got the player character, Alistair and Loghain (if you let him survive) as the potential sacrifiers/rituals, but the same person can't do both.

Find out where the heated rivalry between the Templars and mages is headed in Dragon Age: Inquisition, and why BioWare chose these groups for the main conflict.

nice!!

but I've noticed the presence of a raven/crow bird in several of the shots. in one shot, it's perched on the Inquisitor's shoulder.

that, plus the talk of having "agents" to do you're bidding has me worried that they will force your character down the "dark/shadowy" path.

I think it depends on what you have them do . Remember actions are what determine you as a person in all thing's. it can be used for good or evil other wise what's the point? These games have always been about chose. having agents are no different. and shouldn't be. Commander Shepard had agents when he and Liara become the shadow broker. and once my Shepherd had that I went around ruining villains plans as much I could with them. so.....

I hope that's the case.

that the "moral alignment" of your agents mimics the moral alignment of your Inquisitor.

That shot of the dragon landing and scaring the animals away from the watering hole was pretty impressive.

"Choices that matter."

Pfffft. Yeah, okay Bioware, whatever you say.

If it ends up matching Origin's or ME2's level of choice I am totally fine with that.

Hm "tactical view", isometric view coming back?

Also from the site dragonage.com,

"DEEP AND COMPLICATED CHARACTERS Lead a party chosen from nine unique, fully-realized characters – each of whom react to your actions and choices differently, forming complex relationships both with you and with each other."

So party size 9.

Right now Varric, Cassandra and Vivienne are confirmed. Cullen and Iron Bull are suspected so that's 5.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tallis from that DLC makes it in as well.

I thought they confirmed the tactical view was coming back a whole ago?

Regarding the party size, do you know how many you can have with you at a time? One day I would love an RPG like this where you could bring your whole party with you.

I hadn't heard anything yet but its totally plausible I missed something, I've been skimming through the vid journals than actually watching them per se.

I think its still 3 party members at once + you, but I'm just guessing based on the videos. I mean maybe, but I'd be surprised.

I don't know much about Dragon Age but I recently bought Dragon Age: Origins based on how much fun I had playing BioWare's Mass Effect games.

Origins/Awakening is pretty good. DAII isn't as good.. But fun for what it is.

Loved Dragon Age II. Moreso than I, but that was mainly due to how much of a badass that you can make Hawke.

Yes I've always wanted that.

Hehehe yeah bro, if there's one thing I think of when I think of Dragon Age it's Hawke being a mother****in badass blowing guys up into sick gibs. XD

Hah, they actually went and patched all the ludicrous people exploding nonsense out of the game.

Anyway: A nug.

I really hope Leliana or Sten will be in this game and hopefully not like Morrigan's role but as companions, now on a scale of 1 to 10 how likely is that?
