Obviously saying something and doing it are two very different things... But it certainly seems like they're producing the sequel that should have come after Origins, rather than what we got in DA2. Don't get me wrong, DA2 had its merits and I enjoyed playing it, but it was both rushed, and off in a totally different direction gameplay wise. Short of a few story notes, it was scarcely anything like Origins.

I hope they remember their original flavor and don't go too far down the Elder Scrolls path, though. We already have an Elder Scrolls series.

Intrigued to see what they do with Morrigan. She's not a party member (didn't think she would be), but also not just a cameo. So a semi-regular part of the story, I take it?

Very intrigued.

yeah, I had massive hype for DA2, but it was a let down in the end.

that's why I'm still cautious on getting too excited for Inquisition. I need to hear more.

especially about class restrictions and specializations.

one thing I do hope they borrow from Elder Scrolls is offering more freedom in how you can develop your character skill/class wise.

I know Inquisition will still have the 3 classes, but it would be nice if they eased the restrictions.

if I want to rock a melee-oriented battle mage with a sword in one hand and a spell in the other, I should be able to do that.

Ya EA confirmed back in...May I think that Bioware is making a new Star Wars game, DICE is making Battlefront, and Visceral is making one too. This is because EA won the bid to do Star Wars games in the foreseeable future.

yeah, I'm hoping it's an RPG game like KOTOR, but with the scale of Mass Effect/Dragon Age and next-gen graphics/game mechanics.

I thought I heard somewhere that Alistair might return as a companion.

I'd like an older/wiser/more mature Alistair as a companion.

I'd also like Cullen as a Templar companion.

All of that sounds great, looks like they are trying to take the openness of a Skyrim and smash it together with Bioware storytelling.

hmmm......having your DA stuff saved under a differed ID might be a problem......

but who knows what system they'll work out.

I'm more curious if I get DAI on PS3 first, then get the PS4 version later on, will I be able to import my PS3 saves and "continue" them on the PS4 version? Or would I have to start all over?

hopefully they will explain that in the future, too.

hey, maybe just like they're rereleasing certain PS2 games as "HD remastered" on the PS3, maybe they will do the same for certain PS3 games on the PS4.

maybe we'll get a "remastered" DA compilation set.

I'd imagine there will also be some way for brand new players, who haven't played the previous games, to setup the "backstory" from the prior games before starting DAI.
