Complete power mage, maxed out fire and ice with a little bit of force. I never really level up healing, I figure I'll bring another mage along for that, plus I always stock up on potions.

I've gone mostly with Spirit. I just need to get one more upgrade for Walking Bomb and it will be maxed out. I've also invested a few points in Arcane and the ice branch of Elemental.

OK, so...

You can't continue once the story is over, right? Can you at least pull a Mass Effect 2 and import a pre-made character? I don't want to use the awesome champion armor only for the end of the game :( I want it for the entire thing!

Ugh...
So apparently I created two Bioware accounts, and I registered my game and used my Signature Edition promo code on the wrong account (the one that isn't linked with my Xbox Live Screenname).
I talked to a person at EA, and they said that they can switch my Gamertag to the account with all the registered content, but I was afraid that would make all the DLC I have for Mass Effect 2 and DA:O inaccessible. Does anyone know if it will do that?

lol I did the same thing. I thought it was just for the soundtrack, then when I realized there were item bonuses I flipped out.

Then I e-mailed them here asking if the linked account e-mail switch was possible.

They didn't do the switch but I got a new code about 4 hours later.

Does anyone have the Blight Queller achievement/trophy? I think I need some help with that one.

Not that I've noticed.

Okay i got a much more satisfying ending, more thoughts on the ending and the final chapter:
So guess how Orsino got the Harvester spell for himself? It was from the same man who murders your mother! He had been aware of him for sometime but didn't acknowledge him due to his fear of the templars, this lets Bethany side with you and luckily i get a nice healer pew pew chick since i wanted to murder Anders for what he had done.

Once i defeated Meredith the city demanded me to take the throne and i became the Viscount, much more suitable since now i can imagen he could control the Circle and Templars with much better neutrality, but alas we know all Circles have gone loose and some Templars even left the Chantry to chase them down. @_@ Still i found this not only the better choice, but also the actual "good" choice since Orsino falls down to the Blood mage path by his OWN decision. Meredith was corrupted by the blade and you know Anders was the only mage NOT to succumb into blood magic, but we can bet it's due to him being an "abomination" of sorts.

Think my 2nd playthru will be a Mage so i can get a taste of Carver Hawke. :)

I feel that siding with the Templars is the better choice, i had left a save before the whole "choosing" with my original ending being me siding with the mages, i went back to the save and checked out how the other ending goes, this is also to get the ending achievements faster lol. :p

I sided with the mages and then went sailing with Isabela and Merrill. lmao it kind of just ended. I'll do things differently next time around.

I want some epilogue DLC dammit!!

I'm having a really hard time moving forward. This game has lost my interest big time.

It gets pretttty friggin crazy towards the end lol, if anything just do the companion/main quests and get on with it.

Main quest? There's a main quest in this game? Could've fooled me. I'm like 26 hours deep into this thing, and so far everything I've done feels like a side quest.

Oh, Bioware.

That would be the quests in the "Main Plot" portion of the journal. Yes. Very good.

True story.

Okay then, the "Main Plot" feels like a bunch of side quests so far.

lmao I don't know what's worse, that the guy reviewed his own game or that somebody took the time to research a metacritic reviewer. :o

Did the Bioware fellow actually outright make out he was something he wasn't? Either way it seems to me more a matter of a personal knee jerk than some seedy marketing ploy. Bioware tend to get good 90+ ratings so wouldn't be surprising if they think there farts smell of roses. I think it's probably alot of the reviews themselves on the left hand side with shady back handed business going on as oppossed to the Bioware man bigging up his yo, yo, yo inferior sequel barely sitting above the 70's. Metacritic seems kinda good and bad, It's alarming that developers are so depended on it. Hell, bet most of the people are probably just looking at a big number than actually reading reviews for the majority of websites. It's what I see people complain about, scores, not whats being said. A -2 diffrence can get a 20 page argument on gametrailers. :awesome:

I'm going to say the fact that someone took time out of their day to research a metacritic reviewer. Chances are, this happens all the time with developers reviewing their own game on metacritic. "Hardcore" RPG fans are just now showing that they're some of the biggest babies out there.

The Bioware people shouldn't care about the metacritic spammers as much as people shouldn't care about IMDB ratings at times, remember the whole godfather 2 vs. Dark Knight fiasco?

The problem with saying that Bioware shouldn't care about the metacritic rating, is that publishers do care about it. Very much so unfortunately. They care about it so much that they use it as a metric to determine if a game will get a sequel, whether developers get bonuses or get fired, if they should dismantle studios, etc...

I think I f***ed myself with that gold/XP exploit because the enemies level with you. I've now got level 30 characters with 0- or 1-star equipment and everything feels hard as s***.

Well, I'm marking this up as a dissapointment. It's obvious Bioware shoved this out the door. The environments are bland as tofu and the lack of any after game continue or new game plus makes the task of getting new armor wasteful. (i.e. champion armor: i spend all freaking game trying to get it and I got to use it for roughly an hour...wtf bioware?!) There are things they got right. Armor feels more varied, Hawke is an interesting character and the combat is much more fun. Art style is nice, but it doesn't blow my mind.

7/10

Oh yeah, story structure sucks. The story is nice when you pay attention to it (or if you read it on wikipedia like i did :o)

The story structure is fine and easy to follow... Not sure I get that complaint at all...
