At least one of your party members will no longer be present so you should do all of that if you haven't already. I think everything else will still be there.

Ok, let me say this.. I played about 10 hours of the game as a two hand warrior.. and seriously I was ready to sell the game. I enjoyed the past three games (including Awakening here) but something about this just felt slow, clunky and boring.. But instead I started over as a Rogue and holy crap I'm glad I didn't sell it.. Game really feels fresh and fun now.

But that two hand warrior class is awful. Almost ruined the game for me.

Note to self: Don't play as a two hand warrior when you get the game.

I almost never play as a 2 handed warrior.

Me either.. Which is why I figured I'd give it a go... Nah. Stay away.. Do not pass go. Do not collect 300.......Gold coins.

^^ yeah, I remember in Origins, 2h was just soooo slow and clunky. it looks like in DA2 and DAI, it's been sped up a bit, but it still seems a bit clunky.

I normally just stick with the traditional Sword and Shield.

I've enjoyed sword and shield just cause its faster. I did 2 handed for a few hours and didn't care for it either.

playing as a Mage just doesn't seem that much fun this year, either. but I'm going to try to stick with my Mage character until I unlock the Knight Enchanter spec.

I'm still kind of bummed they took out the Spirit Healer spec as well as pretty much any kind of healing spell or party buff spell.

I did start a Rogue Elf the other night, and surprisingly it was pretty fun. but I don't know if I will stick with that character.

Mages are better once you get the specialization. I'm playing Knight Enchanter. I feel like it's BioWare's gift to people who want to play a Jedi. There's a lot of synergy with other abilities. Your Spectral Blade is a spell, so casting it reduces the cooldown on other spells. You also keep your barrier up longer by attacking.

The Warrior class, in general, was awful in Origins. I played a 2h warrior in DA2 and enjoyed it.

I'm playing a Reaver 2H Warrior and it's a blast. You use the reaver stuff, grappling chain, whirlwind, mighty blow and just crowd control the enemies with tons of damage added.

Reaver's the one spec I didn't get but it looks like a lot of fun especially since I'm not at full health it would be nice to get a benefit for that.

Iron Bull is a reaver, so you guys could try out playing Iron Bull and see if you like it. =) But yeah i think my next character will be a Mage Necromancer or a Rogue. Archers seem to kick-ass in this game.

one thing I like about the PS4 is that I can use the save screenshot feature to save images of my Character Creator sliders.

I just created a new character last night, and saving the screenshots of the sliders will make it much easier to create subsequent characters using my new character as a template.

I bought this on release but finally got around to playing it. A few hours in and I'm loving it. This is Bioware back to their true form. I'd say this is the best game of theirs I've played since KOTOR, or BG. I loved the first DA, but this is even better than that one. Truly feels like an old school RPG with a great modern polish. Having a blast and just like Bioware games of old I can't stop playing. Such a great game. Probably the best game this year for me second would be Dark Souls 2.

This makes me more excited for the untitled Star Wars RPG they are working on.

But so far this feels like Bioware has found their old mojo, I was nervous after the Doctors left but it seems the team understands what we wanted and listened. My hat is off to them for that. Good job Bioware!

Wait.. Wait.. Wait...waaaaaait... UNTITLED STAR WAR PROJECT? Is this legit? Did I miss something?

nothing official has been announced ( other than Battlefront ), but it's been heavily rumored since Disney acquired SW and then EA got the rights to develop SW games. it's been expected that Bioware will make another SW RPG.

can you imagine a new gen SW games on the epic level of Mass Effect and Dragon Age?!!

No EA said they were working on a game. It's even on BioWare's wiki. It was announced when they said Visceral is working on a SW game as well They have said the company is working on a game, but neither have announced the what the games are themselves. Don't make these games like Mass Effect, make them like DAI. That would be perfect.

Not what exactly they are working on, but that they do have an untitled SW game. As does Visceral.

ah!! well, with DAI released, I hope that SW game becomes Bioware's next project.
