Dragonball 2: Reborn (2011) Official

Excuse me Craig? Did you not realize both JAPPO and I exchanged news all the time? We worked together until the day the film released. You just got old beef with me so you will talk down on db legends whenever you get the chance to.

Well at least Dragonball fans have seasons of episodes they can watch , this is about as exciting as Mortal Kombat: Annihilation which is probably better.

The only thing positive about DBE for me was that it gave me an incentive to go back and watch a bunch of Dragon Ball episodes for the first time in ages.

So this is actually happening? The first made like a million dollars and was **** from what I heard. I believe it.

Make a ****ing Dragonball Z movie and make it awesome already!

oh jesus ...
screw it , im sticking to something less aweful

*pops in his DVD musical batmen : the years after tim burton*
ahhhhhh , much better .

and , cutting a Camero , um dude
that was a flat out SHOT at transformers , and a hint and a half that they wanted to kick the FRAG out of the bots .

if it was a cobalt / hondai / porsche i could understand being a random incident for a scene . . . but they went out of their way to get a Camero .

Jag

it needs a better director and writer.... the cast was ok to me...
well atleast they got her HUGE EARS right (no extentions needed )
*shrugs*
the one thing they got right >__>

I could care less about your almost inexistent website.

Jappo and I had been following and reporting on the movie long before it.

True Jappo did exchange information with you every now and then but that doesn't somehow discredit the fact that you posted unconfirmed information at times.

dbthemovie (Jappo's site) avoided this.

Anyway I don't need to argue about something that was clear for anyone who followed DB:E through production.

Info on the movie went like this:

First JP's movie blog became relatively big but then fell off in the later stages of production and dbthemovie had become the leading site.

Your site never had any major scoops and wasn't even part of the equation. The mexican site, JP and dbthemovie which ended up growing the most in terms of hits due to it's constant information that we always had posted.

I posted news on the site many times myself as well. Jappo of course is the main one to be thanked because he kept everything in order and had some really good inside information within the movies production (Tim Van Rellim the executive producer).

I was a regular vistor to dbthemovie, was a great site. Posted all the info. I hated the movie with a vengeance, but following it was great. Had some good times.

Just sell off the wrights so an asian company can make an actual DB movie.

DBthemovie.com was a good site. forum was horribly moderated though.

I disagree.

Adam was the admin and I along with the other moderators did the best to keep Dragonball/Z/GT fans in the best environment for civil discussion.

As much as I loved DB (it's in my past now) its fans can be the most obnoxious thick headed and tread on the line of pure stupidity.

Thats not to say there aren't fans who are smart and can discuss the franchise in a constructive and fun way.

Some were posting pictures of porn and other adult miscellaneous material. Sorry for Adam and the rest of us who tried keeping the site and forum clean for everyone. :whatever:

I dunno, I was banned within days for saying a mild swear word not directed at anybody. mods were harsh

Isn't dblegends really unreliable? I seem to remember they post any news, confimred or not so I'll take this rumour with a grain of salt.

A sequel will NEVER happen. If it does, I'll be shocked.

Not only did the movie do terrible a the box office, the movie itself was 100% trash.

Poor box office, poor critical response, poor general response, poor fan response.

It was just a total failure all around.

Na the had good moderaters they just weren't super strict......however the Mods over at DBMB were fantastic :o

Weren't super strict? They were banning people for going off-topic in a thread.

Just some food for thought, Avatar's box office money might be able to more money to the sequal. Bigger budget means better film.

Imagine a 150 mil budget Dragonball movie. With a different directer and actors of course. *drools*

They're not going to make a sequel to a movie that failed in all conceivable ways. And Fox already proved they don't know what they're doing with the franchise.

I really wish Stephen Chow would have a crack at the franchise instead of the producer-in-name only role he had with DBE. I can easily imagine him capturing the tone of Dragon Ball. Just watch Kung Fu Hustle and imagine one of the goofy fighters in the beginning to be Krillan, the final uber fighter at the end to be Goku and imagine the mobsters as the Red Ribbon Army.

I don't know, James Mater keeps saying that they are working on a Sequel. SO I'm no sure we wont see a second one.

didnt Masters also said that hes face make up was on the set green?

Well then they shouldn't have gone off topic lol but seriously you could get away with a lot over there.
