It's pretty obvious budget played a unfortunate part with the costumes, but giving with what they had. I have to say I admire their dedication as well as their creativity with it. I never for once expected some spectacular. I know alot won't like the costumes but hey, they did the best they could.

Regarding Piccolo's ears, alot of Piccolo's physical features like his ears, antennae, arms, are going to be digitally improved with CGI as said by K&K Productions.

Yeah alot of people are bashing the costumes, I just don't understand what people expected from this. The fact that us fans contributed to the budget with donations tells you that this is extremely low budget.

The whole people on deviantart can make better saiyan armor argument is dumb.
My question is, can they make a better film?

Also the fan-made Metal Gear Solid movie... really cool, but you might want to watch the dubbed version.

I'll take this DBZ fan movie over that God-awful Dragonball Evolution any day !!!

But almost no anime/manga character LOOKS asian, but they were created by asians, have asian names, cultures, etc. So it makes since for the live action portrayals of these characters to be by actors that are asian or of asian descent.

I think they are releasing the teasers to show how close to the source material they are sticking to as opposed to Dragonball Evolution. IMO, I always thought of DBZ being one of the harder anime to make into a live action film, it has a quite expansive story and with today's film, they try so hard to condense so much source material into one film. Let's just hope this fan film gains some recognition and hopefully gets re-done with a bigger budget.

Its a five minute extended trailer focusing on the most loved scenes from The Saiyan Saga. They didn't have enough funding for a full movie. Their main goal is to show the potential of a DBZ done right and hopefully a respectable company will recognize that and buy the rights from Fox and make a movie of their own.

Oh man, the nostalgia. Now I know the acting isn't the greatest but this is just pure awesome and this 5 minute trailer puts DB Evolution to shame.

Considering the low budget they had, just imagine what they could do with a high budget. It's definitely faithful and paying homage to Dragonball. I love it. You see Fox, this is how it's done. Take notes.

I hope they get the funding to continue their work.

I recognize all the hard work, but it was a little disappointing. Mainly the action. These guys did a way better job and I guess their budget was much lower.

Considering with what they had to work with they did a great job. Really enjoyed it.

They definitely get "it" and their passion is very admirable. Great job.

I think the low budget and fan made nature is pretty obvious and apparent but at the same time, you can clearly see the passion and how faithful they were trying to be. Their main goal was to just react some of the favorite scenes from the show. To show potential of a DBZ live action movie.

I just wish Fox could have see the potential and went a more faithful route with their adaptation instead of trying to cash in the "Peter Park Highschool" rip off.

I know alot of people are going to slam this this pieces because they are going to take it too seriously but hey I been following this for months and I can say I'm satisfied.

Those videos you posted Nathan while they have better effects and what not, however I think the trailer has better Martial Arts.

The one with the Androids just looks like obvious Cosplay actors doing regular punches and kicks and edited to look super fast. While in this, the actors actually perform martial arts. So I guess it's how you budget your money.

K&K used most of their money for a realistic location and landscape and for a real Professional studio. So with that they had to get mediocre actors and some great martial arts.
